Fuck Wolves were good tonight.

We were utter fucking shit, but I'm not going to take anything away from Wolves. They were great and fully deserved the win. If it wasn't for Fabianski it would have been a rugby score. Pellers got school'd by Nuno tonight.

Still don't like the shade of yellow your shirts are now though ;)

Man City looked knackered. It really should've been 2 or 3-0 before Newcastle equalised but Man City's body language was all wrong. Danilo cost them that game with a really terrible pass. Danilo passed short all night.

It was a weird game to watch.

It is Liverpool's title to lose now. Sean Duchess never loses on a Tuesday night.

Wow, what an evening of football! Comebacks all over the shop. Heaton didn't deserve to concede a last minute equaliser after his performance. Fulham pulled off a win from 2-0 down - I wonder if that could belatedly kick-start their relegation fight. Then of course there's Newcastle. Incredible stuff. When City scored after 30 seconds or so, a 6-0 seemed the most likely score.

Edit - Sean Duchess is my favourite autocorrect of 2019 so far.

Fabianski had a fantastic game.  I have to be honest, I was disapointed by West Ham, I was worried about tonight, but Hammers offered very little.

West Ham fans were decent, and joined in with the applause for a young Wolves fan who died this week, which was very good of them.

That was as complete a performance as you'll see, Wolves were outstanding.  Back to back wins against our close rivals, with Everton to come on Saturday puts us in a strong position to cement top spot in the league (7th)

There are mounting problems in the squad. Years of chronic under investment means that the back up players just aren't good enough (Ogbonna and Masuaka are both complete liabilities and as for Carroll..) coupled to our quite horrific injury list which has taken at least five first team players (Lanzini, Reid, Balbuena, Wilshere, Sanchez, Yarmalenko..it goes on) and the black cloud surrounding the sordid Arnautovic saga and what that has done for squad morale and well, typical West Ham I'm afraid :(

I'm genuinely worried about what Liverpool are going to do to us on Monday.

What the hell went on with Arnautovic? He plays like a guy already going elsewhere, even does the farewell thing, the manager clearly hates him and then he pops up with a new contract.

Bizarre.

He didn't do a lot last night, but he did leave on crutches to be fair.

I went to the reverse fixture in September and he was a real handful, didn't score but only thanks to Rui Patricio's face.  Looked a shadow last night.

Arnautovic was a disgrace last night - as were the majority of West Ham's players TBH.  Fabianksi is pretty much the only one who can come away with any credit.

Oh and by the way, the referee last night was an utter joke - good job we managed to take some of our chances, because how he didn't give either of the penalty shouts (one in each half) is completely beyond me.  When you see the penalty Ryan Bennett conceded against Raheem Sterling (which was the correct decision btw) we've been denied 2 much clearer calls by an official who didn't appear to understand the rules.

As for Wolves @dr_manhattan^ - what do you make of Dendoncker?  I think he's been a massive part of our recent good form.  Such a clever player - the way he creates space for Neves and Moutinho do their stuff behind him is really paying dividends.  Coupled with Jota's return to form (he is a perfect partner for Jimenez), it seems to be clicking.  Dendoncker couldn't get in the squad for 3 months - I don't know what the issue was then.  Fitness?  But now, he's a pivotal part of the team.  £12m for a 23 year old Belgian international who seems very much at home in the top half of the Premier League is a steal.

@Boothjan The first was a pen all day every day. Masuaku has been doing shit like that all season. Him and Ogbonna the octopus average around a pen between them every game they play. The second wasn't a pen IMO as Jota went to ground very easily. If you give that, you give the one at the other end where Coady (?) clipped Antonio.

Re. Arnautovic @Plissken he apparently has a hobbie that costs him lots and lots of money (nothing substance based, more the other disease that footballers are unfortunately very susceptible to) and thus wanted to increase his wages. Pellegrini wanted to make an example of him (squad not happy with his antics either) but Sullivan gave him a new incentive based contract with the understanding he can leave in the summer if the clubs price is met. This has understandably pissed the squad off even more as he has been rewarded for throwing his toys out the pram.

Now everyone is pissed off. Players at Arnie, manager at the board and supporters at all of them. Our season ended when we threw the cup game to concentrate on the league and now it'll be a case of finishing between 10-15th (if we're lucky). Great. Hooray.

Absolutely love the Donk.  He reminds me in style of a better Saiss in midfield.

I've thought for months we needed the extra man in centre midfield, I thought that man would come from the back three, but we look much better with this front two than with a three.  Jota and Jimmy have struck up an amazing partnership and the Donk had brought out the best in Neves and Moutinho.  It's very exciting.

Saturday should be a good game.
