Jason-Puncheon-signs-for-Huddersfield-Town.jpg.a1c3cc8a95d979828d102ae21193dcc9.jpg

Signing a player whose legs literally don't work anymore is probably up there. He seemed pretty frustrated about it himself the other day.

Puncheon on loan and a young lad from League 1 who probably won't be ready until next season. After a strange couple of seasons it feels like our normal service has been resumed.

Better to keep hold of the money for the summer than spunk it all trying to accomplish an impossible mission though, of course.

The January window's always been a lot quieter than the summer one though. When you say massively down, are you talking about previous winter ones or overall?

First time there has been a decrease in spend in the prem since 2012 and the BBC saying half the amount spent this year to last. But the prem still the top league in Europe for spending at £140m more than Italy.

Sadly the refs almost always favour Japan's opposition. However Qatar were great this tournament. Ali is a really good striker and Yoshida just doesn't have the legs to cope with him. Japan are in transition and missing the outstanding Nakajima so can be pleased with a runner up spot.

I'm assuming the person that negged my post regularly watches Asian football?

To add more, the eligibility of two of the Qatari players had been questioned several days ago and it had been quashed without comment by the AFC.

Sadly it's an exceptionally corrupt entity.

It's a pity as if this is proven to be true, it takes away form Qatar and all the players and staff that worked hard.

I hate that Son is a Spurs player because I love him. Finally got around to putting him in my FL team so have been watching him all game and he's just great. Pops up all over the place, constantly chasing the ball and seems to have such a good attitude. He's the current day Dirk Kuyt.

You what, he is a great player not a journeyman ;)

Howler from the keeper but right result and another blow to negative football.

Got to try and get a win against Bournemouth later or we could be cut adrift with Fulham and Huddersfield as things stand.

No easy task and I'm hoping I don't regret dragging myself down there despite feeling like shit 2 weeks after a hernia op.

Here's a surprisingly difficult to google question, and I'm happy for it to be Premier League only.

What's the smallest lead that's always been safe. i.e - no-one has ever lost or drawn from.

I've seen a lead of 3 goals get blown, I don't remember a 4.

The 4-0 lead of Arsenal against Newcastle in 2011 became a 4-4, only 4 goal lead to drop points.

Plenty of 3s, my favourite being Spurs losing 5-3 having been 3-0 up to Manchester United.

Wolves 4 Leicester 3 in 2003/04. We were 3 down at half time. Amazing day.
