Agree regarding Spurs' support. They came in numbers but were very very quiet.

I'm not going to argue too much with the result - they just had that extra quality upfront.  We're suffering with a lack of quality in front of goal. We're creating plenty, we're not easy to play against, we're fast, we're inventive. But we couldn't finish a roast dinner which is so frustrating.

It's also disappointing to see our defence switching off against quality sides. The first goal was mainly good play from Spurs but Jonny should have stayed with Lamela. The 2nd is awful, giving a small bloke who can't header a free header. The 3rd is from their goal kick. Not good enough and I wonder if we might see a change in the back 3?

Not remotely worried about struggling this season though. It shows that the fans who now think we're a top 6 side are a bit ahead of themselves! We are roughly where I'd expect us to finish, which is significant progress for the club.

Spot on.

We’ll probably lose four on the bounce now, which is why I was frustrated coming out of Brighton away last week, but that can happen.

The Huddersfield and Cardiff games coming up after Arsenal are huge for us now.

What's the definition of a 'real' football fan?

I hesitate to say something one who watches their Club at the gates, since most are already priced out of that (and it would only get worse if fans are expected to travel across Europe to watch away matches in this new league). But I would say most real fans football fans have grown up with promotion and relegation, It makes or breaks one season and really what makes football interesting for many

Just watched a stream of first half - it's a full on game. We were probably shading it, but Bamba just deflected a shot away from goal with his hand and the ref missed it! Looked a banker penalty/red card.

I was down there. It was a penalty. The Ref was a shambles and he's got previous he's openly admitted he hates Cardiff in the past; To be expected coming from Bristol :). He should never have been the official for that game, really terrible for both sides

Stirling manages to kick the ground and fall over when going for a shot and wins a penalty. He doesn't mention that to the referee though, it's an astonishing decision.

I can kind of understand referees getting conned by dives when there's slight contact, but to give that penalty when there wasn't another player near him when he went down is outrageous.

Why should he mention it? It’s not his fault the ref hasn’t done his job right. Does a defender own up to a mistimed tackle or tug of the shirt?

It would have done wonders for his rep if he did own up but he didn’t have to say a thing.

Ryan Christie is gonna be some footballer. He’s absolutely class.

Im glad hes being noticed. His dad was a Caley legend but his son can really reach a high level if he gets regular playtime.

Christie has struggled to get chances to play for us until now and was possibly going to leave in the summer, so it is great to see him taking his chance so well now. On another note, struggling to believe how well Teemu Pukki is doing for Norwich, a very ordinary player who was never close to being good enough for the Scottish premiership.
