Thoughts on the end of series 2...

Spoiler

Immediate reaction was that it was a twist for the sake of a twist. Kendall suddenly turning on his Dad again seemed at odds with his character arc.. what are we supposed to think now about his vulnerability and tender moments throughout the second series?

But the more I think about it the more I've come around to it. I think the theory that it's all a planned setup from Logan is a bit far fetched, but his smirk as it's happening really helps sell it, and I think there's obviously an element of him finally being proud and thinking that Kendall might be able to do it after all.

I'm so sad it's over and we now have to wait! Been very spoilt by this and Chernobyl this year. Amazing TV!

Edit: Oh one quick question.. when Greg and Kendall are on the plane right before the press conference, have they already planned it? Because that would make sense, but the line about "don't worry I'm not going to jump out of the window" kind of throws me in the other direction...

I don't think they planned it, I reckon Gregg mentioned it (only he knew he had the secret files) as he felt sorry for him and then Kendal obviously talked him into actually helping him do it.

Looks like I'm going to be the sour puss on this one.

Six episodes in on season 1 and it's just not happening for me, I'm finding it, well, kind of boring,TBH. I've reached for the Fast Forward button on more than one occasion, a sure sign its just not for me.

..and apart from a couple, most of the actors in this do absolutely nothing for me, at all.

Oh well, I've got about 5 more shows on backlog to get through and I'm just not inclined to waste any more time on this.

If you've just watched episode 6 (The Vote Episode) and you still don't like it, then you can say with some certainty, that it isn't for you. That episode was the one for me! A real, wow, this is brilliant.

Now fuck off! Oh, go on, cry me a river. Get the fuck out. Straight out! Passes canceled. We'll send along personal belongings.

This thread is too quiet for such an incredible series. Just finished Season 2, and I think it's the best TV I've watched since Chernobyl.

It's so funny too. Biggest laugh from me was:

I had to pause it to recompose myself.

it's an odd one because everyone says it's amazing, you watch it in a few days and agree. Not much more to discuss! it's genius. looking forward to a second watch though.

Yes NOW TV.

Started it this weekend and only 5 episodes in but it’s very compelling viewing. Every character is seemingly both likeable in some way but also a massive bastard.

Would recommend based on what I’ve watched so far.
