Is it me or did they slightly retcon Picard dying and being replaced with an android and now he’s just Picard with added robot bits?

It is going to take some time travel shenanigans to remove this version of the timeline. Hopefully they can take out Discovery's 31st century timeline at the same time lol.

Was it someone in here who mentioned the enterprise D was turning up, or maybe just the enterprise? Either way, I hope it's not just a cameo, and it's nice if they are actually pissing around on a proper starship, rather than whatever generic sci-fi ship #23 that other guy had.

 

I have hope they've learnt from strange new worlds a bit. Oh no wait, they filmed S2 and S3 at the same time didn't they? Bugger.
