Not been feeling this series at all. I thought I'd enjoy Victoria being on it, but she doesn't appear to be half as intelligent as I imagined she would be. I hate Alan Davis with a passion. I've no idea who the American girl is. Guz is really irritating. Why does he talk with that weird fake accent that 12 year old white boys use when they think they are some kind of black gangster rapper? But sound more like an idiotic Ali G. It makes him sound like a bell end.

Morgana was the only one I liked. Didn't have a clue who she was, but she amused me.

Also, and this probably won't help for obvious reasons, but here's Morgana on Alan Davis As Yet Untitlted. It starts rather slowly, but is well worth a watch. As I've got older I feel a kinship with certain people, and she's definitely one of them. I reckon she'd be so much fun to hang around with.

I fear bland, mainly. There's plenty of funny people who'd be a good fit, and I think the New Year special did well on that front by getting good personalities in, particularly Rylan Clark-Neal and Nicola Coughlan.

I’m hoping there’s some random Hollywood fans of the show, like how Jon Hamm and Paul Rudd ended up on Travel Man.

Greg: “Welcome this series guests, Eddie Izzard, Matt Berry, Dawn French, Julia Stevenson and, for some reason we can’t even begin to understand, Vince Vaughn.”

Although, thinking of Travel Man, Richard Ayoade would be good value. Reckon he’d start off thinking (and acting like) the show was beneath him, but like the football game with Frank Skinner in Zurich, he’d get super competitive within three tasks.

Morgana was good fun on Travel Man, as well. Worth a look.

When they read the task I felt sure there would be a second part or something as I was certain I had downed a pint with my mouth open. I then started to question everything, had I imagined it? Was it possible? Was something wrong with me? I didn't think to just pick up my glass and try. Victoria's inability to drink was truly baffling though.

I was more confused why no-one just chugged it *normally* and then argue the point that, if the liquid was passing through the mouth, it couldn't have been closed.

I almost think that's what they were hoiping for so they could have it debated in the studio.

The drink task was from here :D (10 minute mark in case it doesn't auto-start there)

Spoiler

Guz's chocolate button task was from NMJ as well, sort of.

That last episode was really good, the tasks were just low complexity opportunities for the cast to be funny. It's such a shame the rest of the series wasn't like that.

Next series lineup has been announced, and according to replies they've got the studio audience back:

Can't say I'm over enthusiastic about the line up for the next season. Ardal O'Hanlon is the only one I've heard of and while he was clearly great in father ted, he's never struck me as particularly funny in anything else I've seen him in. Having two ex-strictly contestants doesn't fill me with glee, I fucking despise that show.

Then again I've been pleasantly surprised by loads of people I'd never heard of in previous seasons so I'll do my best to reserve judgement. I thought this year's would be a cracker and all but the last two episodes were pretty much duds so shows what I know.

Sophie Duker is a regular on Frankie Boyle's New World Order, which I think is my favourite bit of TV right now (almost entirely because Frankie has hit the spot he always needed to be in - he's just so very good here - the monologues at the end are often sublime). But I fancy her something rotten so am a lousy judge, but she's got lots of sass.. Chris Ramsey I know mainly from a sit-com called Hebburn. It was OK. I think he'll be fun. Bridget Christie - I'm aware of her for being daft. I couldn't name a thing she's done, unless I've caught her on Live At The Apollo at some point, but she sounds like a good one. Judi Love is the only one I have nothing for. Ardal should fit the grumpy old man slot well.

Love Ardal. Ambivalent towards Dukar -she's sassy and funny at times but incredibly one note imo.

Not much idea of the others but am allergic to Judi Love. Everything about her delivery sets my teeth on edge. Can see this being the first series I skip if she's as she is in everything else. The entire 'right, I'm not being funny right. But...' stuff just. Ugh.

Sad that the new years one has some fabulous people who'll only get one ep to shine. Can Warsi and Winkleman being an utter joy.

Probably down to individual schedules as to why they are only doing the one episode.  Can’t see someone like Winkleman having the time to commit to a full series.

Bit late to the party for the most recent UK season, started off slow but really enjoyed the last few episodes.

I do however think I am in love with Morgana Robinson though.

Have you seen House Of Fools? She is fantastic in it.

Just found this searching for it, and now I'm in stitches. It's so fucking daft:

I really enjoyed the NY special, as with last year's. The whole 'comedian / non-comedian' invisible divide is daft - how the hell Katherine Parkinson is considered the former but the likes of Rylan and Nicola Coughlan aren't is just ridiculous, given a whole series the latter two might have been all time great contestants.
