Oh man. When I was working on Fuzion Frenzy 2 (unreleased) I came up with the idea of a game where you had to finish second to win. Never fleshed it out, but that task tonight did a similar thing really well. I love that Judi was predicted to do exactly what she did.

 

A good bunch this lot. It's hard to know when they're announced, but I think they've all turned out to be good value for money so far.

The cement mixer one was similar until Chris Ramsey came on last and saved the day with potentially one of the best Taskmaster performances ever.

I thought Ardal’s murder of a dummy hair wash was also quite funny - the rest not so. 
 Bridget is starting to annoy me slightly with the whole “look at how off the wall I am” performance though.

Enjoyed this series a lot more than the last one. Really back on form. Last week's cup snake task has to be one of the most boring of all time though. I was expecting a nasty twist double task but nope, that was it. What did they expect to happen other than 4 people making a snake out of cups? Bridget's madness did a little to save it, mind.

Every so often you get a duff task like that and wonder what the hell anyone was thinking. And then I remember Alex has said that they film more tasks than get shown in the show, because some don't work out, and you've then got to wonder how bad the others. I feel if Bridget hadn't gone completely weird with it, it'd just have been one of those unseen tasks.

 

Ardal and Judi have stood out for me in this series. I was expecting more of an old man thing from Ardal, particularly after one of the early tasks, but some of his stuff has been gold. The Swedish folk song he sang for Fred had me laughing so much at the unexpected nature of it, that I didn't even realise he was singing the first time I saw it - my wife and I were laughing too much to hear.

Yeah I was hyped for herring when he was announced but he was dull in the series. He was ace in this one off though. Tarbuck as irritating as ever. Gamble only funny when he has a breakdown. Others fairly anonymous. We were proper spoilt for the first champion of champions though. Can't win 'em all.
