I always do those ones without looking up the answers and today was the first time in absolutely ages I got 10/10. It turns out I know more about (the publication dates of certain works of) literature than I thought.

150 points for getting an achievement in A Plague Tale: Requiem in the console app. That's basically a reward for completing the first chapter as I don't think there's another one you can get sooner. Probably about 30-45 minutes for that one I reckon.

I follow this guy on YouTube, you can do it in under 10 minutes if you are good with a sling.

I was going to cheese it using this but its not that easy and actually I want to try the game as I hear good things about the first one.

QUesiton is do I have to play the first one to understand this one?

Kinda double question: can you still get achievements on 360 games and, if so, do they count for the daily 50 points?

Yes to both, even though the wording says something like "Get an achievement in any Xbox One game" or words to that effect. (Actually it's probably been updated since Series S/X have been out - point is I think it implies 360 achievements won't count, but they will.)

You don't have to, but it will certainly help as it doesn't do any kind of re-cap at the beginning oddly enough. I'd say play the first one as it's great anyway, but YMMV on that (and this one as it's deffo more of the same).

hmmm sadly no longer on gamepass. Maybe I'll try a bit of this one and then if I like it (using it as a demo of sorts) stop and go get a copy of the first and play it through properly especially if there are no spoilers as there is no recap :D

The wording's still the same.

Xbox 360, One and Series games all count, as do PC games via the Xbox app.

Same, back to "Play with friends on PC" for me.

Not a particularly big deal for me as I still have Forza Horizon 5 installed, but certainly a bit more inconvenient than the last few weeks of launching Fortnite in a browser tab and never once progressing past the initial splash screen.

As I've mentioned before, FH5 is good for this because it's an always-connected game, so simply going into the overworld and driving around for a minute counts as playing with other people. You don't have to enter a MP lobby or interact with anyone.

It's a big install though, granted.

Mine is gone as well, damn.

Do you have to have people on your friends list online when you play Forza?

If it's like Age of Empires, no. You just need to go into an online game. Though wit AoE, you don't even go into the game, just into a lobby.

Since I need to use Windows again, anyone know if the search plugin is still available for Chrome? I can't even remember what it's called...

Are there any games on gamepass that work via the cloud on a tablet for the "play with friends on a pc" thing? I searched for Age of Empires but couldn't find it.

No. I don't have a PC and tried for a while for a workaround regarding PC games on cloud.

Although I'm hopeless. If you have better luck let me know. :)

The uptick is there seems to be more 250 point servers on AoE ...I don't seem to get it to trigger when I make my own .

It usually does still trigger when I've had to setup my own game. I boot it up in the background while checking emails and doing daily tasks and it's *usually* triggered by then. Occasionally it doesn't but that's a rarity.

Had the good fortune to match with an evilashchris who I assumed was our @evilashchrisas it's a pretty distinctive moniker a while back.

Cashed in my points today to get the elite controller as it was 11% off…

Still crazy to get tangible things at the end of doing the rewards points thing, long may it continue!

I used £25 of points on Monday to pick up Capcom Fighting Collection in the sale. A game I probably wouldn't have paid actual money for, but feel like the very little effort it took to get the points was worth it already.

I know there's people who sneer and ask what our time is worth compared to the points we get, but it's such little effort that I find it really worth doing. As I've said before, it covered about 3/4 of the cost of my Series S...

Forgive me if I'm being dense, but are you playing FH5 on the PC to get this or is there some sort of cross play that means you can do this through Xbox ?
