I still don’t have this option on either my PC or phone app.

Are you in the UK? Pretty sure the phone app only offers it to people in the UK and Brazil at least that’s certainly how it used to be. Even when in the UK I had a couple of friends that to didn’t used to work for but it has for some

time now. Deleting and reinstalling the App might be with a go. Mind wasn’t giving me notifications until I reinstalled it a couple of weeks ago :)

In the UK, tried reinstalling the app, tried on a PC, tried on a Windows install on Steam deck and Rewards do not show for me. Asked a few mates and they all have it on their phone app. No idea what’s different for me.

Are you a gamepass ultimate subscriber? I don’t know that you have to be but myself and my friends are.

Also (and apologies if you’re already looking in the right place) but are you opening the App and then selecting your profile picture (here)….

As that should then take you to a page with the rewards a little way down the screen….

I still don't have it either. Keep checking now and again, my face pressed against the window. Could it be you have to have had an XBOne or Series console maybe? I've never had one.

Or maybe it's just the (un)luck of the draw.

I have been an Ultimate subscriber for years on Xbox One and SX. I have logged into Xbox and played Ult games on a Windows partition on my Mac, on a desktop PC and a Win11 install on a Steam Deck. I think you’re right @James Lyon— we aren’t the lucky ones.

On the Xbox app on phone AND Windows I only have three tabs:

Posts Achievements About

I’ve never had the Rewards tab like most other people.

I think I’m going to have to deliberately break my streak on the Xbox. It’s asking for three achievements and I’m scanning my owned games for three easy chieves to grab. It’s not fun. If it was for the monthly bonus round maybe.

Rare Rewards doles out achievements pretty frequently.

This. You get one for each game you play.

If you have played any / much Killer Instinct, I has dozens to get really easily.

Winning a Survival match gives you an achievement per character. Winning 2-3 will give you another one for getting them to level 3. Winning ten gives you a third. You'll probably hit 30 fight challenges before you win 10 survival matches, so there's another one. There's something like 28 characters, just playing survival mode for 10 minutes (put it on the easiest difficulty and you can just button mash through each match) with every character will get you over 100 achievements.

I've never had this mythical rewards tab in the Xbox mobile app either.

UK based, GPU subscriber, Series X owner. I'm assuming it's just something they've rolled out to X% of people and I'm not one of the lucky ones.

Has anyone got any recommendations for Game Pass games with quick achievements that I can use to farm the daily achievement quest? So far I've been going through Donut County, with it leaving Game Pass soon.

I've been following this playlist from Rewards Hunter. Takes about 10 mins for 3 achievements each time

Killer Instinct. It has about 50 different achievements that take 1 minute to do.

Microsoft casual games on pc - solitaire and minesweeper and the like - all have pretty easy to complete achievements. This may already be well known but it was news to me, when I decided on a whim to have a little nostalgic game of cards.

Is MS/Xbox online borked for everyone this morning or just me? The browser rewards page, Xbox app and Solitaire are all taking forever to log in or even open. I’ve not tried the Xbox itself yet.

Just got a work email about "problems with Microsoft cloud services" so I think it's probably fucked all round.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. You can get about 10 achievements for doing actions that you're taught during the course of the first couple of levels (plus an achievement for completing the first level).

I know the NG series has got a reputation for being hard games, but Sigma 2 on Acolyte difficulty is really straightforward (I certainly found it easier than the original Xbox 360 version of NG2).

Rationing out those early tutorial achievements to just one a day might be the hardest part!

Well the Stardew Valley Weekly total didn't make me want to rip my eyelids off...

I'm a big fan of Stardew Valley and think this is a particularly bad one. The fishing minigame is frustrating enough for someone who has played it a lot - to the point where there's a mod for the PC version that gets rid of it - let alone for someone who hasn't played it much.

Golf With Your Friends has a load for just playing through each course. You can actually forfeit each hole to zip through. It has quite a few other easy ones - have a look on TrueAchievements.

Rare Replay has one for each of the games for just starting a game. They all also have a fairly easy "get this many points / survive this long" type achievement as well.

Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle have a load of easy ones that you get for basically just progressing through the game. And are loads of fun to play, even if you use a guide.

Yep I've noticed that. Although it does come in waves I think. The big pointers seem few and far between recently. Though saying that yesterday there were 7 games on the Xbox app for +5 points just for viewing the gamecard which was more than I'd seen before.

But none for around 4 days in a row last week.

Can't blame them for less freebies though when they are laying off workforce left right and centre.

The play on pc with friends one is still ridiculously generous. About 2000 points a week when the big monthly "x daily and y weekly quests" one is down to 500 points now.

Did the Stardew Valley one last night. Took me about 15 minutes, but I've done it a lot. If you're thinking about doing it and haven't played it much / at all, it's worth getting the training rod and using that. The basic process is:

From the start, walk to your bed and say yes to the ho to sleep message

On the second day, go outside and check your post

Once you've read the message, head east until you get to the shops, then head south until you get to the beach

After the cut scene fish until 9ish, when the guy who has told you how to fish goes into his shop

Follow him in, walk up to the counter and hit A, the scroll down and buy the training rod for 25 credits If you haven't got any credits (I can't remember if you start with any) sell the fella any fish you've caught. You'll have at least one because you can't not catch the first one

The training rod has a bigger green bar, which makes it easier to complete the minigame. It'll just take a little longer because you get a lower hit rate

Yeah, I've been clearing that and the "Play on PC" one by have a quick blast of Quake rocket arena every night. Five minutes of utter fun too.

Also, treasure chest is up on the console app.
