You'd need a Bluetooth controller to make it work (or the Stadia controller obvs).

Where did you get this? Email, in app? I wouldn't mind another chromecast for the bedroom.

Redemption code for a Stadia Premiere Edition to use on the UK Google Store will be sent to the email address associated with your Stadia account within 3 business days after signing up for Stadia Pro and must be redeemed by 11.59 p.m. GMT on 20 November 2021, or it will expire. You must have or add a form of payment at checkout, and shipping charges may apply.

Is there a newsletter type signup for Stadia? I have 2 lapsed accounts and neither have received an email from stadia since I cancelled the subscriptions. Is it normal for them to send out marketting emails?

I’m on Pro and I’ve never had an email from them except for monthly receipts and order confirmations.

If you can get stadia cheap I'd absolutely recommend it. The technology is truly fantastic, and the controller is first class. I mainly play on xbox and switch but play stadia when the odd Pro game interests me and when they have decent sale offers on other games. Would I have it as my main console, no, but its worth a go.

 

The only thing letting it down is pricing, pro should be cheaper for what it offers, and games should be cheaper. There are one or two exclusives worth playing but it needs more which makes the decision to scrap first party games so puzzling.

@bradigor@Hamus I’ve just spent an hour on chat jumping through their hoops to no avail even charged my card and had to cancel 

 

the solution appears to be

1.follow the link then delete the stadia premier .

2.manually search for premier and add to basket 

3.it then should show discount £-69.99 and zero postage 

4. If I does confirm and get your free stadia 

 

5. She had me clearing cache history etc and it did nothing until I did the manual delete and add so maybe you will need to do that .

I did it on my pixel phone but I doubt that helped and I was having the same issues on iPad Safari and chrome . I just thought I'd use my phone on chat so they couldn't blame it on Apple :)

I got onto chat and was told I was on the US chat, so I would be transferred to the UK chat.

I was then told that the uk response team was not available (yes why call it that...) and that they'd emailed for help, expect an update in 2 days.

 

Then they did say try through other browsers and devices.

 

I'll try the steps above, thanks!
