Steven
Finished second episode last night and it was great. Took them long enough, but I think this is the right group of people to be guiding the content now. There are still nods, but it's beginning to feel like a galaxy rather than Albert Square.

Vulgar Monkey
Aw damn. I was trying to think when he'd have a good opportunity and motivation, which come to think of it is surprisingly rare. Thought there might have been a moment where he'd consider booting him out the airlock to get a couple of Ties off their tail. Now Han on the other hand...... Bucky
What the fuck are you fucking fuckers talking about Luke's motivation or whether the pirates are pirates or not? Jesus It's all about the Spoiler Silence...Bwarrrrrrrrrrp! sonic mine thing. As a token nod, I also chuckled when Boba Fett said Spoiler My face may get recognised or words to that effect

Silent Runner
Don't click unless you've watched. Spoiler I was wondering which Jedi would show up when baby Yoda sent out his call. But I never saw that coming! I don't think the CGI is ready yet but it still looked pretty decent. I wonder was that old footage they had or did they work up something totally new? It's a bit pointless complaining about how rubbish the Empire are but this week was particularly silly. How many times can they fall for that trojan-horse tactic? Yes, I know the ship was operating at reduced capacity but it was still daft. Absolutely hated the post-credit bit. Proper good series over all. cubik
Now that's pod racing! Anyone associated with the sequels should be slightly embarrassed that they missed the feel of Star Wars so badly and this show absolutely fucking nailed it. I was grinning like a kid all the way through, more so when a certain someone turned up. Thanks to @JohnC for the end credits tip, I'd already switched it off when I saw his post. Went back to watch it and

5R7
that ep! and my take if you have watched it!!! Spoiler gota say, that looked like a composite, not strictly CG, and thats why it looked so much better! its what they should have done in rouge one! And that after credits scene!
Tempy
I almost couldn’t believe what I was watching. What a great finish. Spoiler All the signs were there. The lone x-wing, the green saber. I just didn’t believe they’d do it. I thought it would be another EU character. I got quite emotional watching that. It caught me off guard. Popular Post MardiganX
I watched the last 20 minutes of that literally on my knees in front of the TV. The early comments in here from this morning got me excited but that.... that was one of the most important episodes of anything ever made IMO. Fucking hell! Spoiler There has been chat about it, but nobody really wanted to think about it too much. It would be a step too far surely. No way he will come back. But then it builds this unbelievably tense situation, where unless something truly magical and spectacular happens these beloved characters are going to die. And even fucking then, you still dont let yourself hope. Ashoka at a stretch, but it will be Boba... has to be Bo..... and then it appears. Like an angel descending from the heavens. But still, STILL you dont let yourself hope and its all very deliberate. Favareau and his crew know what Star Wars and specifically certain characters mean to people so they know how to handle it. And then, only then, when you on your knees, shaking, begging, do you see the saber ignite. You know its him. And in an instant almost 40 years of love and nostalgia slams into you. Luke And just when you think you have nothing left, R2 rolls round to talk (yes they spoke to each other I dont care what anyone says) to Grogu and you actually start to cry. That was simply the greatest post original trilogy Star Wars moment of all time for me. I'm so fucking happy!!

That was simply the greatest post original trilogy Star Wars moment of all time for me. I'm so fucking happy!! You’ve put that perfectly. Just how I experienced it. Spoiler I felt it was coming but I just didn’t believe they’d actually do it. The emotion just bubbled up in me anyway because the hope was so strong. I was holding back tears even before his hood came off. That’s never happened to me before. Usually it would have been a “Yes...Luke!” fist in the air moment but I just bloody cried. A huge lovely nostalgia punch right in the gut and I absolutely loved it. I think a lot of the stress of work and covid and everything else I’ve been carrying inside just poured out of me at that moment. It was pure joy and I really needed this today
Nosejam
FUUUUUUUUUCK!! Second season was consistently brilliant and the last episode was the best Star Wars thing since the last 30 mins of ESB. Completely and utterly nailed it!
