Mini League / Tournament this Wednesday (17th October)

Some of us from the Ultimate Team topic are going to play a mini league or tournament (depending on numbers) this Wednesday evening from 9pm. So far we've got: 

1. @jimmmUK (PSN: jimmmUK, Rivals Division 5)

2. @Jerec (PSN: Jerec, Rivals Division 6)

3. @Pants McSkill (PSN: Pants_McSkill, Rivals Division 5)

4. @nakamura (PSN: volkte37, Rivals Division 5)

5. @AlfromSleep (PSN: Alfromsleep, Rivals Division 5)

6. @gooner4life (PSN: gooner4life, Rivals Division 4)

7. @Sladey19 (PSN: gooner4life_19, Rivals Division 5)

8. @Chewylegs (PSN: ChewyLegs1, Rivals Division 5)

 

Anyone else interested?

 

Also, those already signed up, can you please let me know your PSN name and what division your in of Rivals? Will try do some sort of seeding.

If this goes well, I'm sure there'll be another. Has been a bit of a spontaneous plan! 

 

Looks like this may be a tight league/tournament, with everyone in the same Rivals division so far.

Sounds fair. Happy for the use of one or two loan players, but let's not go overboard.

 

I personally won't be using any - as firstly will use up precious loan contracts and secondly, I'm using this as practise for the weekend league - especially as I'm potentially changing formations a couple of members of my team. 

 

If we don't get another person signed up, will create 2x groups (3 teams and 4 teams, picked out of a hat) - with the winner from each group playing in a final. We'll need to report back results on here, so we can work out who that is!

That's @gooner4life out. That recent team posted is ridiculous!

 

We have in the past set criteria for building teams to play with but we have never been able to really use those teams effectively in a friendly league type thing. That is how we keep 1v1 alive lads, we tie it into Ultimate Team, set specific team building criteria, budget, etc. and then change it up every 4-6 weeks so we always have a mini league on the go :D

Good thinking mate, would be good to get regular 1v1 Ultimate Team based league/tournaments going, especially since most of us should have a decent number of players in our clubs to be able to meet certain criteria.
