Enjoyed the episode, really liked what they did.

Also, Ketracel White-Hot Sauce.

I didn't get that joke sadly. Happy to have it explained mind.

Though did notice the bar was Sisko's and jazz was playing.

And appreciated the James Cromwell cameo.

I'm embarrassed for you...

Back with all the pizazz that makes me want to watch Galaxy Quest again!

Really why's that?

You do realise my ADHD means I have no commitment to one fandom or media right? It's a right convoluted mess in there.

🤣 It's all just fan service, I'm surprised I got as much as I did!

Ketracel White is the drug the Jemhadar are addicted to

That was a slight retcon by Insurrection where I think they referred to it as if it was a narcotic. It's not a drug in the addictive sense- it is a enzyme that is necessary for Jem Hadar to live- they were deliberately genetically engineered to be unable to create it naturally.

Today's episode was fantastic, hilarious fan service, and I have to wonder if Kranch was nod to...

Spoiler

... Mass Effect. He basically looks like a super beefy Turian, or more specifically the reaperised Turian from Mass Effect 3.

I couldn't wait. It's still great! Thank God.

It's also good that it's started off the new season in the character driven Trek mode rather than gag a minute style that it was shaking off in season 2.

Also in S3E2:

Spoiler

The Klingon boardgame
