Dave Perry is back...

Dave Perry has become like what Austin Powers was to the 90s.

And instead of a blue crushed velvet suit and a Swedish made penis enlarger, Dave's collected his Bandana and booth babes to bring back 90s EXTREME RAW ATTITUDE.

Except instead of being frozen, Dave's been trapped in a tattoo parlour for 20 odd years.

Don't shoot the messenger.

Just risked the awkwardness of someone walking in my office door and played it... fucking hell, it could only be more cringe inducing if he'd got the Maybot dancing along to it as well!!

Well he couldn't go down the slide in Mario 64 but old Dave sure dun showed us gamers the fuck did that matter. 20 odd years later he has the hot babez floating around his orbit. Man did good. Or just looks like an old irrelevant tosspot who hires young girls to sit on a couch, one of the two.

One of them is clearly older than him.

That'll be his wife.

To be fair on the guy, doing a bit of background reading and I think he's playing up to the 90s image schtick.

He's got a Tattoo Studio in Torquay and he doesn't seem to wear the bandana in any of the photos...

And it looks like the "studio" he's recording in is actually his Tattoo Studio, but with a load of retro gaming shite thrown around.

Although he's maybe going a bit overboard with a professional camera/cameraman - but then IT'S SO NINETIES MAN!!!

It might also explain why it's taking so long for the next episode. If he's to beat YouTube's algorithms, he'll need to learn how to upload  a 17 minute video at least 5 times a week.

As an aside:  what do you mean by that, or is it a joke?

  • 4 weeks later...

I think Dave is missing the point of how YouTubers are successful. Create lots of content, doesn’t matter about the “professional quality”.

Spending weeks to script, professionally film and edit a video isn’t going to build up his views and followers through YouTube’s algorithms (although to be fair he’s done well so far using “traditional” means of raising awareness - like speaking with the press or having models in bikinis... Max Clifford would be proud.)
