Naruto is a kind of Ramen (noodle-type-thing) isnt it?

Right, Naruto is a new (well, new-ish, its ongoing atm) anime series in Japan, and its probably the best series I have ever seen. It's about some ninja kids who go to ninja school, learn powers etc etc. Really good stuff, quite emotional too - as anyone who knows about the Wave Country mission will testify. Even my girlfriend likes it, and the only other manga she likes is the Ghibli stuff.

The game isnt gonna be that great; but I just want to be able to do the moves!

KAGE BUNSHIN NO JUTSU!

MA-

KI.. NARUTO RENDAN!

Sorry, but I really love those Japs :P:D

DUDE! Episodes (up to) 69 are out! OH MAN! Wait and see what happens very soon. :D

And isnt Kakashi just the BEST? :P

Oh and Goat Keeper, you cant be *that* old, unless you ARE that guy from Mad Dog Macree as your avatar suggests ;)

The game is indeed good, and I have basically no knowledge of the anime at all. So I'd imagine your enjoyment of it will be even greater, seeing as you're familiar with all the characters and moves. All I know is, there's some bastard with a dog who keeps making it run over and bite me on the arse. Git.

The Naruto beat-em-ups are even simpler than the DragonBall Z ones on the PS2. That's terrible. I love the Naruto cartoon, even if they stretch 3 minutes of action and 2 minutes of story into 25 minutes via everyone staring and growling at each other for a very long time

It's not a good game at all, it's extrememly simple in a bad way. It's not going to be a UK release because it ties into the cartoon and manga that I think is only out in Japan? there might be a crap dub of it on US tv though.

I'd personally argue with you on that one - and the person who wrote the review I linked to would as well I guess (seeing as they gave it 8/10). In fact, a lot of people would, as this [Naruto 2] has been a huge seller in Japan over the last few weeks.

You might not like it, but it's not a bad game by any stretch.

Even the over-enthusiastic review says it's got simple controls but if you like Naruto it's cool because of the cellshaded versions of the characters fighting at your whim. Depends if you like Naruto enough to buy the game, exactly the same for Dragonball Z and Budokai

The game itself isnt that bad really. Controls are simple, but I know *loving* the anime helps bias me

Quite balanced tho I thought, and 4 player free for all is quite a riot. Especially when Rock Lee opens his inner-celestial gates and Ura Renges everyone ;) ;)

And Gai Sensei IS in it, and his super move is really funny.

Just wish Itachi was in it ;) hes leet
