sofasurfer
An nice article on some of the in jokes in TTS. SPOILERS, obviously. Really looking forward to playing this game all over again, especially with all of the hidden in-jokes. Recently played it through once again on the PS1 and it is still a damn fine experience. Add in better graphics and you have a must-have Gamecube game.

Boutros
Hmmm... I find it rather cheap that Konami recycles an old game. And they even dare to give it a different name. Lots of people who don't read much about games, and have played the Ps1 version a couple of years ago, will feel hustled. It's still gonna rock though
ICECOLD
Of course it looks good. The best game ever, version 2 Well, my favourite anyway. Unparalleled in-game cinematic storytelling coupled with the much-improved Sons of Liberty Engine. Can't argue with that! Game of the Year? on paper, a strong contender! Grimnir
I love the caption NGC gave for this screeny. "Another typical day at an American Highschool. Or maybe it's just the aftermath of some Ninja-related tomfoolery". I can't wait either!
Warszawa
Obviously it's not up to MGS3 standard visually and the frame rate is apparently a tad disappointing, but I'm definitely going to buy this one unless there's a major disaster with it. Should be excellent.

It'll be a completely different experience though - MGS was like Pacman with guns - this will have aiming and everything

esar
I've never really "got" the Metal Gear games (i've not really tried that hard) but I was watching my mate playing Substance (is that the 2nd 3-d one?) the other night and got right into it (between the cut-scenes). So I shall also be purchasing this as a Metal Gear Virgin.
hub2
I actually prefer the story in the first MGS, melodramatic, operatic, over the top at times, but the characters were great and some super set peices... especially the ninja guy's 'scenes'. You are truly in for a great experience. I must have played the demo of MGS from OPSM about a million times. Same 2 levels, over and over again. "Huh? Who's footprints are these?" Hehe. Classic. Nothing?? Blimey, you do have high standards as you've passed over some classics such as Mario Kart, Prince of Persia, Beyond Good & Evil........
