I just noticed they have added both series of The Mick. This is an absolute must-watch for any fans of Always Sunny, and is one of those rare series that gets continuously better as it goes on - season 2 is filled with some real dark comedy. I would actually go as far to say it’s better than some of the more recent Always Sunny series’

Similar to the likes of Community & The Orville, it has a few ‘safe’ episodes to start off, but then quickly finds its feet to effectively become an absurd Sweet Dee spinoff.

Fox in their infinite wisdom cancelled it as they thought all the characters were completely unlikeable, which was kinda the point of the show. Everyone in it is a total asshole!

Rewatched Only Murders this weekend.

Really lost it at "Playing Fields of Gold" at the end, Martin's antics in tbe last episode and the amazing silent ep.

Exactly the sort of bravery Netflix haven't shown for good shows.

I was going to say that Disney should stop doing these 5 minute Simpsons shorts with celebs and instead make a full version of Stop the Planet of the Apes, but of course it can't be done as Phil Hartman isn't around to record it 🙁

No details on international plans or even US price yet, but they're starting to talk about the ad supported cheaper subscription. They say movies and TV shows under an hour won't have more than 4 minutes of ads. Profiles for preschoolers won't see any ads.

I started the Wu-Tang docuseries last night, not a huge fan of them but do have a few songs of theirs on various playlists and like learning about the culture surrounding musical movements, not alot to go on so far as only watched the first episode but I enjoyed it enough to definitely finish what's available so far (Disney only have on season though it's apparently about to start it's third on Paramount).

I think the Sex Pistols docuseries is out either today or tomorrow too

I was tempted by this, but decided to watch the excellent four-part Wu Tang documentary ‘Of Mics and Men’ instead. Gave a really good account of the various personalities and beefs that arose between them over the years. Was sad how they mostly fell out with The Rza, despite how instrumental he was their success. As usual, it all came down to the who got the C.R.E.A.M.

Where can I watch this?

I know Wu-Tang: An American Saga is partially fictional, but it's still enjoyable, in a similar way that The Get Down was.

We finished Pistol yesterday, loved it but really glad it didn’t drag things out and outstay its welcome. I was a little bit tearful at the end…I think when you have the image in your mind of those people and those events, it’s hard to think of them as basically just being kids, whereas this communicated that well.

Sony Spider-Movies have started making they way in. Not all yet though. Tobey 1 + 2. Garfield 1 + 2. Holland 1.

Part of Raimi’s deal for Doctor Strange 2 was that Sony and Disney will now pretend Spider-Man 3 doesn’t exist.
