Probably not many more, because I was so much faster in the wet, and I didnt have trouble staying on track. Just with pace and sliding

Us Dutch have a thing with diseases, by the way. I much prefer your style though.

TBH I was expecting to get punted and then go a lap down early. Some of those people are very aggressive. What sealed the deal however was the evasion slide, track cut and automatic DSQ that put us almost 4 laps down from the 2nd to last GT3.

Might be. Most teams have a lot of experience and speed, but they dont care about anyone else. The start already had a car dive bomb from 6th or 7th to 2nd, making cars ahead dodge out of the way. Its been the same every race now.

 

I suspect the lack of live stewarding also plays a role. It hurts more to get a 30 s stop-and-go during the race than losing 1 spot in post race penalties.

@Meers if I recall correctly a while back you had the analogue paddles on your McLaren rim set as indicators but when you updated the rim firmware you lost that feature. While I was procrastinating in work and perusing the fanatec subreddit I came across a possible way to remap the paddles to whatever buttons you like.

Yeah that's correct! When I was still running the older firmware I used for the P1 I could map the analogue flappers as digital buttons (and my indicators on them). With the new firmware, the wheel got loads better re. feedback and strength, but I lost the digital paddle function.

 

But that's a great find, man! I will try to get that working and use it to map the look left and right funtions on them (pressing them both looks back). I've mapped them on other buttons, but they're a bit fiddly to press during racing. Them being on the triggers would be better. I'm sure @winky and @EuroVapeSim2 would like this as well!

Was always my second fave behind the Porsche for "can actually drive this" ability when we last did GT4s, gonna find out if I still like it later on I hope. Superb engine noise which is of course one of the most important factors.

Welcome @Kristian Svenning I also came over from the Power Q discord, I never raced the Q league so I'm looking forward to racing you here. 

 

I jumped on the practice server for only 20 minutes earlier just to set tyre pressures and get an initial feel for the car, the camaro sounds amazing, lots of understeer compared to the ferrari so will have to try dial that out a bit over the next week with practice.

Thanks man! Yeah I’ve been rocking the Lexus for a few weeks so a bit different haha. But it sounds bad ass, so looking forward to learning it. Too bad you didn’t race in the PowerQ league, was a great bunch of people there. Only respectful and nice people. 
 

What’s the name of the practice server btw?

Looks like server was down after a windows reboot, but its back now.

 

Password is on the event page here (it's always the same password for practice and events)...
