Damn it's Tuesday already and I've gotten no practice done, even though I didn't manage to finish either race around Suzuka in the Ferrari I think I'm going to stick with it for this season.

Just looking at the server results @davejm, it’s not recorded any times or even laps for my first session of the evening, which is the one Yarrick joined too. I did about 30 laps. I made a second attempt to get inside 1:44 (which is the second session recorded) but quickly gave that idea up, hence the 1:45.9 after 4 laps of running.

Haha I was thinking that as well! The driver needed to double clutch to get it in gear. Thing doesn't go faster than 60kph either, so no idea how they made it to the fires in time. :lol:

I've picked it up on Xbox in the recent sale so would be up for a few races. I know the Series X|S versions aren't out until Feb but from what I understand the Series X version runs closer to 60 now and the game isn't quite the train wreck it was.

 

It's good to have a picture of Meers to visualise the enemy during the race. Congrats.

I continue to struggle to find the flow of Hungaroring, it's getting a little better now for me on what I think is my third attempt at mastering things. The McLaren is a lot different to the Honda, not sure I coax as much raw pace out of it but I'm a lot less on the knife-edge of losing control completely, it feels like I have much more time to react to its feedback. I've lots to learn about setting it up yet, that's for sure.

I managed to set a time last night in the Macca 720, 1.46:6xx something. The car's lovely to drive, slightly less feisty than the 488. Used the default setup and changed a few settings here and there. It's not the fastest setup but it's very consistent so I think I'll use this setup tonight as well.

I've been away camping with the family this last week - so not had an opportunity to set a time or do any practice.  I'm just going to wing it tonight lads - wish me luck 

 

While I was away I didn't have any electricity, but I did still get some wheel time.  Rate my setup:

that must be one of our shortest leaderboards for the morning of a race ever! I have no idea if my time is truly competitive or more of a mid-pack thing. Not that it matters that much, I haven't had much time to try and repeat it and usually have been a good 0.5s slower. It's going to be a race of mystery tonight.

I was going to join yeah, is that okay. I missed the roll call thread but was going to try the Bentley.

 

I am having a hard time with a weak wrist, think it might be a result of the steering wheel, so turned down the ff and see if it gets worse.
