The Aston is the like the black suit and black tie of ACC, it can do interviews, funerals, weddings, work, regular dress, fancy dress.... point is it goes with everything. But i dont think anyone else that joins is gonna be as quick so your safe there at least.

Last night I did a couple of online races with a random Dutch lobby I found. Only 10 of us, but 2 races with 12 min quali, 15 minute races. No Major offs, 2 good finishes (2 and 4) , and several 1.38's.

So, you are all aliens or our server slows me down, or I go to shit in the company of real drivers. To use parlance previously adopted in this thread, a little bit of A and B, with a large dose of C .

Well A is a no for me. B is technically not possible and C, well I did a lot of go-karting back in the day.

fuck me, I get my tech woes sorted AND get to 'fighting for the lead' pace and then ... race one I messed up and had to let a lot of cars through & broke the aero a li'l bit, but that's my minor mistake. And then my bloody vr hat goes apeshit and starts locking into passthrough mode before dumping me out of the game. SEETHE!

 

I reckon this whole season so far I've had about one race that wasn't beset with some technical problem or another :(

Quite happy with that. This week’s noob mistake was under fuelling by about 3 or 4 laps in the first race so I had to lift and coast like crazy. And then I realised I’d way over done it. By then I’d lost tyre temp. Then a fight to the finish! The car was terrible in the middle sector sliding around like crazy but was still good in the fast stuff so I could cling on. Close!
 

Second race I had no tyre temp at all. My right sides were blue. And then off I went into the grass. Took half the race to realise I should understeer and slide a bit to generate some temp but by then the gap was too much. And I ended up over filling by 4 laps as I panicked and added too much fuel for the second race.

Well that was interesting. First race wasn't great I spun out of the lead and had to fight to get back up their, had an amazing fight with @SharkyOB and then started reeling in @mexos lap by lap and was on his bumper but couldn't quite get past.

 

Second race was better lead from lights to flag but still manged to spin and crash in the same spot but had enough of a lead to stay ahead.

 

Really sucked that you had the technical issues @milko there was room for a 3 way fight there.

Ah, another time maybe. I was just getting up to @mexosbumper in race 1 when it went to pot, now I know he was having car trouble I'm even more cross I messed up the chance. 

 

humph. Naturally I got the vr hat working just fine again after about 15 minutes.
