Call of Duty - Modern Warfare

Recommended Posts

The best game and the worst game all in one handy package. Absolutely amazing how they pulled that one off, but there it is. I stopped playing during Season 2 and will never go back, it was so good for a while then descended into utter shit.

Not my bag at all.

I'd have said the same but I've addicted to it now. Mostly play as a duo or solo but it's really very good. If it's not your thing fair enough but worth giving it a go.

I'm still playing on and off but I've definitely jettisoned the fomo of the Season Pass. Now I'm not grinding that I'm not bothered about ditching it when it's an absolute shit show. I did get my first solo win on Warzone the other day, though. The final kill was the Ultimate Arsehole Move™

Warzone is an excellent BR. It doesn't have the bunny hopping, dolphin diving bullshit of the mp which is an instant plus for me.

After the 1.23 21+GB update, after you fire up the game there is a further 2.1GB Multiplayer pack to download. :seanr:

What a cesspool of humanity they create with this stuff

It's like the Human Centipede of gaming, feeding itself.

Usual COD pattern for me, total burnout through how madly addictive the first season and a half was. Then other games come out and it gets played a bit less every day, until you realise you're not going back. Haven't even progressed a single tier through Seasons Three and Four.

Smashed this weekend's double XP, Level 98 to 154.

Shipment 24/7 is just the best thing in this game when it goes right and the most aggravating thing in this game when it goes wrong.

10 minutes of boredom for you. Sloooow matchmaking, crap maps, matches already half way through/in-progress (there is just no point in joining because the entire lobby disbands after the match, only to start the whole process). I think I managed x2 10 minute matches in 1 hour.

Latest 1.24 update for MW is out.

36GB download on PS4 that requires more than 172GB+ in free space to fucking download!

If you have a 500GB PS4 console, you have just enough space to have this single game installed, and download / install the update for the single game you have installed!

@englishbob was that screen grab yours or just something you posted? Like @moosegrinder an update is not showing for me on PS4. Cheers.

Managed to play tonight with no update with someone who had the update so I've no idea what's going on because I didn't think that was possible.

Looks like most of the new update is about Warzone, so much for the fucking game I actually bought! (MW)

Booted up : have they fixed the fan noise in the menus : no they haven't - Update fucking 24, twenty four, no fix

Hey. It's update day. Same old

It's pretty funny. My problem is Battlenet needs to update one of its components but can't because the download servers are clogged with massive COD patches.

So I started my HZD preload on steam instead

I swear every time they try and make the game look hard and dubebro it comes over more camp.

The latest unskippable CGI intro now has some bloke, who is obviously wellhard, sitting on the side edge of a helicopter with a big gun, and somehow he doesn't fall off. Cringeworthy stuff

Get me a sitrep motherfucker and light it up

Fired this up last night for a few quick rounds of TDM and faced with another 48gb update. After a while away, I'd downloaded over 100gb last week. Uninstalled.

Is Modern Warfare remastered this much of a ballache? All I want is a quick TDM session for a few rounds every now and then without being awarded 100 items after every round.
