M'bappe scoring the sort of goal you only tend to see when you are playing FIFA on easy.

Admittedly being PSG in the French leagues is probably a bit like playing FIFA on easy but still, what a player this guy is. Only just turned 21, already got three title medals at two different clubs, scored in a world cup final and will probably have 150 senior goals before the season is out. Maybe we won't miss Messi and Ronaldo that much when they do finally hang their boots up.

Rooney’s implanted bushy beard is a sight to behold - would VAR draw a line to it as the furthest part of his body forward in close offside calls ?

Dier. A report by someone in the crowd said that a fan was shouting abuse at Eric, so his brother grabbed this fan.

Surely, if this is true, the trouble started with his brother - and he should be the one serving a stadium ban?

Gomez demonstrating prime Mustafi technique there in rather attempt to draw a foul and claim a free kick from an exaggerated reaction to the slightest touch as opposed to actually defending properly.

They almost went 0-2 down then. Central defenders should never be that flakey. If you are the last defender, deal with it. Don't leave it up to the opinion of a ref.

I think Bournemouth are in for a hammering now.

0 for 2

Which still leaves you as a better pundit than Shearer!

Palace v Watford today, I'm expecting a loss, they've been a bit of a bogey team for us and love a bit of rotational fouling on Zaha (which leads to tantrums and cards for him).

I fucking hate Troy Deeney...

Another point off Wolves! A good day given most below us lost. It's nearly always a dull goalless affair but it's a point we really need given our situation.

MacAllister straight onto free kicks by the looks of it too.

Despite the worst refereeing we've had at Selhurst this season (and we've had some diabolical performances from the men in black) we took 3 points.

No idea how that Watford team beat Liverpool, they were all over the shop passing-wise and didn't have any bite about them, Palace weren't outstanding either but for once 3 points we absolutely deserved.

Two points from Brighton is pretty much the best we could hope for, so I gotta be happy with that :)

Very tight for that 4th spot.

I fancy Wolves to catch Chelsea and, possibly, Leicester if they don't get a win very soon.

United also have a nice run coming up.

Duncan Alexander, on the latest Totally Football Show, mentioned Aubameyang is one strike away from reaching 50 goals in 75 appearances, which is pretty bloody good.

Even better, he calculated on current form it will take Joelinton 1400 appearances, or 37 seasons of football, to reach the same figure...

I love they're so stupid that, when they stopped them shaking hands for no reason at all, they didn't stop them walking past each other when they would normally shake hands so they have to trudge past not making eye contract.

Don't forget they spend the entire game touching each other too.

Yeah, and celebrate goals and of course all shake hands on the way off the pitch.

United and City players all shaking hands and hugging in the tunnel pre-game. But don't do it on the pitch before the game
