Sue Smith is alongside Jonathan 'VAR is the Worst' Pearce.

He also keeps mentioning the men's game during comms, he needs to stop that... or just stop commentating in general.

He was good as a radio commentator back in the day. And had some lunacy on SWOS (“There’s a full moon out”?) But there are so many better commentators out there now.

No, they normally invite other teams to it, but it’s normally Central Americans or the US. Think they add in a few as 10 teams make the group dynamics weird. They’ve talked about European teams being there before but it’s difficult with the different international calendars.

VAR decision for another France penalty. This time though spot on decision and also resulted in a second yellow for the Nigerian defender.

Edit: France fluffed it anyway.

Edit 2: To be taken again as goalie came off her line.

Agreed but I favour the full Dudek being allowed in penalty shootouts, all this keeping one foot on the line is rubbish.

Dudek comes so far off the line, he is taking the penalty in the other area.

Garry Monk 'sacked' by Birmingham City. I can see their stadium from the car park at work and have the pleasure of sharing an office with quite a few Blues fans so I've heard plenty of rumours this week, apparently he wasn't thrilled about the ground share with Coventry and stories range from him being fucking furious that Jota was being sold to Villa for a pittance to him not even knowing about it until it was on social media. It seems he's had a fallout with the board and they've sacked him in a huff.

Probably the best outcome from his point of view as he gets a payoff and his stock is still high enough for him to walk into another job. I'd be looking at him to replace Frank Lampard if I were Frank Lampard's Derby County.

I'm only following it on Twitter but it appears it's all going of in England U21 vs France U21 right now. In the last fifteen minutes or so England have scored, then they had a second goal disallowed, then France missed a penalty, then England had a player sent off then France missed another penalty.  So yeah, football.

Most surprising aspect of the England U21 game was that Wan-Bissaka did the whole ‘decent player goes to Man United and gets worse’ prior to the transfer being completed. An own goal and a fairly lumbering performance.

Amazon aren’t silly - this means lots of people will get Prime for December, and then be more likely to then buy all their Christmas presents on Amazon too.

Presumably they can shape your recommendations on Amazon based on your viewing habits, too. Two full sets of games should let them work out which team you support.

As a neutral who is never realistically going to pay for Sky or BT Sport, I’m quite looking forward to it. Some decent fixtures there.

indeed, iirc my prime renewal date is the 9th of december... hard to believe there are people who don't already do this, considering how yuge they are.

30 minutes to our first European draw since 1981 :omg:

Anglo-Italian cup aside...

We'll surely draw Kilmarnock.

Could be a local affair as it's Crusaders of Belfast or B36 Tórshavn who presumably are from Castle Bromwich.
