It’s literally just Neil Tennant standing on his own singing along to apparently just a backing track… bizarre. I know Chris Lowe always looked like he couldn’t be bothered, but thats really taking the piss!

The screen behind Neil was supposed to raise all the way up, it hasn’t and apparently Chris is behind.

Yeah, not helping with my plans for an early night though!

Sleep when you’re dead mate - this light show is to die for. I saw it first-hand at Brixton Academy last September and it was in my head for days after. And we were up in the seating section due to a booking fuck-up.

Kendrick’s is way more artful that pretty much every other performance at the festival, there’s a real finesse to it.

It’s cool they get modern relevant artists now like him and Billie Eilish as well as everything In between, bodes well for the future.

Kendrick showing how it's done for a rap headliner, crowd is excellent too

Hats off to the crowd. I’m a pretty big fan of K-Dot but I can’t keep up with his bars in my head, and plenty of the crowd were spot on when the camera was on them. To be fair I’m old and my memory is shot.

Delighted he managed to combine the art with the bangers, must be a hard trick to pull off at a festival with a general audience.

I’ve enjoyed this Glastonbury from home. Normally it seems like a pale imitation of being at a show, but after a couple of years of prison it’s a pretty good replacement. The headliners delivered for me, Little Simz, and especially Paul and Kung Fu Kenny.

I thought Kendrick Lamar was okay, but it didn’t really move me particularly…all felt a bit one note I thought. Certainly not like Megan Thee Stallion, who outclassed him in every respect. She’ll be remembered as the People’s Headliner.

Indeed, his rapping just sounds the same on every song, most overrated rapper since Tupac.
