I haven't played that, but I don't think many of the games mentioned hold up to the Capcom Collection.  Certainly the Neo Geo ones were quite dusappointing.

Your loss. Sengoku 3 is regarded as one of the best ever made by many out there.

I might regard it more fondly if I'd played it back in its day.  But for me, it's not as good as Captain Commando or Final Fight.

Anyone mentioned Phantom Breaker (think that’s what it’s called)? I remember enjoying it on the 360. Though it was more like Guardian Heroes iirc.

I played that earlier this year (It's BC on the Bone). Really enjoyed it. Just silly enough to be fun.

Gorgeous presentation.

Fighting looks a little samey tho.. Would have liked a more interactive(able) backgrounds too. They look a bit sparse and lacking life. Can’t believe the desks can’t be thrown/smashed in that first section for instance.

Still, I’m looking forward to more impressions.

Great, this just shot to the top of my wanted list! Should make a nice double-bill with Streets of Rage IV.

Did anyone pick this up today? I noticed it's launched at £24.99 which seems a little steep and will probably put a lot of people off.

Curb stomp your enemies? Suitable from ages 10+.

As a 37 year I am tempted but not sure I fancy my future 10 year old reenacting the fun times on the game curb stomping his/her enemies!

I grabbed a copy this morning (Had 6 quid credit left and about 4 quid's worth of gold coins). I'll play a bit on my lunch break later and report back.

This looks great but I'm totally up to my (self-enforced) limit on Switch games this month.

The reviews made it look much more than just punch/kick, with specials, some RPG stuff and a map to wander around. Looks ace and worth the price by the looks of it.

Please play it and tell me it's shit. Thaaanks!

The eShop icon rather plays up the ‘teenage girls in short skirts’ angle, doesn’t it? My friend immediately discredited it as yet another gross piece of shovelware designed to entice randy sorts to part with their money in exchange for some titillation.

Never judge a book/game by its cover. I thought most people knew this.

I think my daughter (admittedly under 10) would enjoy this but I'm not keen on her playing something that is sexualising schoolgirls. That bothers me more than the cartoony violence,

Counterpoint - a picture tells a thousand words.

You and I know this is a serious game which is getting positive reviews but I don’t think my friend is necessarily wrong in his assumption. What do the developers want people to think the game is about exactly? They chose the artwork to use.

Its no biggie, I just don’t get the feeling what they’ve chosen to promote the game allies with the game itself.

From what I’ve seen I don’t think it particularly does sexualise schoolgirls. If anything it looks to be a bit of fun where the women are saving the men for a change.

That's partly why I was considering it as something for us to play together.

Wait, do you buy bras and chokers as upgrades? Eew.

How are you going to fight crime if your bra doesn't fit properly. Come on man. Get with the program!

Reviews are comparing favourably it to Scott Pilgrim, and since Scott Pilgrim is the best kunio-kun game that's excellent.

My daughter is 10 and I will definitely be playing this with her.

This is specifically the opposite of what I requested.

This was my plan but I do find the bras and chokers upgrades creepy.

It's just silly, not creepy.
