I also have the new Noisia album on pre-order - it's already out digitally but the CD isn't expected until June...

I got a shipping email this Thursday. 🙃

Visited a record store whilst in Gloucester this week ("Vinyl Vital Signs" I think?) and picked up JBs' "Raw Deluxe". I've only ever had Jungle Brother as an MP3 download or radio recording, so any variant I can get on CD is welcome.

Picked up a Goodmans CD player from B&M the other day, the speakers keep crackling though, I've tried pushing them into the back more but that's not made any difference, but annoyed really

New? Take it back for a refund? There's plenty of used stuff out there that will sound better than that.

Some recent arrivals, which I have wanted for about twenty years:

Guitar Vader! From Dusk in particular is so damn good, and it's great to have it in CD quality finally. Need to get a new jewel case on From Dusk, but they're complete with all the mail-in cards, obis and other pointless guff that people obsess about with Japanese releases.

Speaking of Guitar Vader in CD quality, if you search archive.org for "Guitar Vader FLAC", someone has done proper FLAC dumps of all their CDs apart from the Beach Panic single. There's also a FLAC dump of Die Happy! taken from the original cassettes, as that never got a proper CD release. It's much better quality than the old official MP3.com tracks from way, way back.
