The Apprentice 2022

The last two eps got me quite mad. They seemed to have them doing things at the same time that needed to be done one after another.

On the kids toys: You can't make a video about a product when you're still designing said product, and there's absolutely no point in doing market research with children if you're already at that same moment pitching said toy at the retailers. The whole thing was a joke designed to deliver daft products.

He seems the typical beta, wannabe alpha type. The American lady verbally putting him on the naughty step in the bike episode was fucking delicious.

For better or worse he’s one of the few to have any personality so far, albeit not one you’d want to spend more than a lift ride with.

I don’t know why that Tommy guy is so popular he’s an aggressive areshole. He’s so far from charming! He just makes me cringe.

I get what youre saying, but i bet to tourists etc he seems nice, for about 5 minutes. Long enough to sell a rube something before realising he's a tit.

Yeah, it isn't that he's charming, it's just that on a programme about selling he seems really good at it

It's only about selling until Sugar arbitrarily decides it isn't. Then it's really about their business plans. It's still the shittest change to the format.

None worse than this week's 'design a bike' challenge. Which was essentially choose a bike then colour it in and give it a name.

Sadly they even managed to fuck up these two relatively simple tasks. I don’t believe for a moment they managed to flog over a million quids worth of ‘Aphrodites’.

Its a part of the show that annoys me. Its all theoretical orders with these products. Anyone could say they would take £500K of bikes as there’s no real risk. Maybe only to their reputation if the product is crap, and this week they were both crap. I’ve no idea how you mess up such a simple task of basically configuring a Raleigh bike. Well apart from the obvious fact the candidates shouldn’t be allowed to run a bath, let alone a business.

Yeah, I hate the fake orders thing.  On those types of tasks the industry experts should just give the teams a rating out of 10 for their design, advert etc. and then the team with the highest score wins. It would be much more transparent and less susceptible to one billy big balls from Halfords making a theoretical trillion pound order because they fancy one of the girls.

Try to give these clowns the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it’s the editing, everyone can be made to look a fool.

Latest episode, an entire team, as in all of them, didn’t know the year the Second World War started. The fucking Second World War. Jesus Christ. In the sea with you, you daft cunts.

I think Lottie Lion is aiming for the Katie Hopkins route, villain on the show then head into a right wing media career.

She's so earnest, how can anybody describe haggling over a dozen eggs costing £2 as 'I lead the negotiation for the eggs' - like it was the Versailles peace treaty

Thats utterly pathetic, theyre not even kids but alledgedly educated business people. Lotte and the two guys really was like a mum and her boys. Do the guys like the book seller actually get the money for those books?

Thought it was just the price agreed but I also like to think there’s a BBC shed somewhere with all the stuff in it. A museum of shite.

...

Lottie has resting Rees-Mogg face. She’s like a posh android who is somewhat aware of human feelings but not sure how to recreate them.

Both posters wete awful 90s-eaque crap. Ryan-Marks "vision" (iirc he said maybe not tho) was so bad i dunno how the PM didnt punch him, my nephews could do better.

Lottie has potential but shes so patronising and matronly for a young, very smart and attractive womanit makes her tough to warm to.

I have a new idea for a new challenge

"Apprentiception"

its actually next years contestants. The dwarf lord of the cockneys comes out, "i've been copping flack that my prizes over the recent years have been steadily going down hill (karen sycophatically shakes her head in denial), they used to be examples of the elite high life you would get when working with me, now its a hastily put together budget team building session that's only here becasue Mavis in accounts found a groupon voucher for go karting. With this in mind your job is to design a prize night out for this years sociopaths"

She’s an utter moron. Flabbergasting how one so young and naive can have such unwavering self-confidence.

I want her to get to interviews, just to see what her business plan is. Based on previous episode, I think it might be a theme park where rich people can hunt poor people and foreigns.
