Sometimes the PAL versions are the best. Rapid Racer is a prime example, 50fps, full screen and the only region with Apollo 440 music!

Doesn’t the US version run at 60FPS?

Rapid Racer ! Now that's a nice powerboat game. Physics model and music straight out of WipEout, lovely tracks and atmosphere, amazing little arcade racer :wub:

Yes. But those ten frames per second are not noticeable. Also, the game is developed for the PAL market first so runs full screen and at the intended speed. And again, the NTSC games have crap music. 

 

Also, when games are coded for PAL, some extra slowdown can occur as you're pushing the system even harder when adding more FPS.
