Ah, so Axl has a low and overhead grab, and I suppose he's weaker up close?

He doesn't have an invincible reversal at least. And his normals don't seem fast enough to interrupt strong pressure either but I dont know enough about that yet.

He definitely seems like he's strongest at mid to far range.

Haha yeah I paid for going too ham on my turn. It's funny that this game has the most intrusive HUD ever for counter hits etc. but some supers have very little fanfare on start up. Didn't even realise you'd done it the first time.

I hate Leo players so much.

Was that the guy who kept doing the Oni crossthrough move? He bashed my Nago with it, but I'm sure I could've easily stopped it with the knowledge.

I'd say this definitely needs a stick, or at least younger thumbs! Playing on a DualSense was pretty horrible for me, but YMMV. I'll have my stick ready again by the time it launches.

I think my hands need a rest now. More tomorrow.

First impressions are it's a fantastic fighter. Damage is huge though, so it feels different to all other GG games I've played. Also not entirely sure how to combo with Roman cancels like I used to be able to do with Sol, but it's all in the learnings....
