This show is my favourite Batman related thing since the '60s series. It's just wonderfully absurd.

Surprisingly, episode 5 of the new Harley Quinn series does not feature Harley or Ivy at all. Instead, it's about something else entirely...

"I don't want pigs in blankets, I want to fight crime!...I will take that honey tea."

 

Additionally, the intro marks the first time anything from DC has acknowledged the now almost mythical and legendary...SNYDER CUT.

 

 

This show is just too damn good.

I started to watch this on All4 then bought season 1 on Prime - and I’m glad I did cause I wouldn’t want to wait a week between those last few episodes.  It’s one of the funniest things I’ve watched in ages, yes it’s violent and sweary but the characterisation & writing is great.  I’m so here for Ivy.  Now to find season 2.

This is brilliant is it. I’m only up to episode 9 watching it on All 4 but it’s amazing how much fun it is and how it all just works. I also appreciate Kaley Cuoco using her own voice for Harley instead of doing an impression of Arleen Sorkin’s Harley from The Animated Series.

It's great and really funny. Would have made for a much a better Suicide Squad movie, they should hand the film scripts over to the animation studios when they are doing stuff like this. Having said that I'd have loved to see Bruce Timm get a turn with one of those stories.

Bane cracks me up in this, and Commissioner Gordon. I've no particular love for Batman or any of the characters really so the sillier and less serious it gets the better for me.

Apparently DCU is getting out of TV and will just focus on the comics DC Universe Infinite service.

Not necessarily for HBO Max, which is a different thing from HBO that Sky have that deal for.

Season 2 has finally started on Channel 4 and is streaming on All4. I don’t get my tv from the high seas anymore and it isn’t available on iTunes until C4 screen it so I’ve been waiting ages for S2 to come out.

Season 2 is on All4 for two more weeks and I found it massively underwhelming compared to the first. It might be because the shock value isn't there anymore but it just felt directionaless and the bad guys were completely forgettable compared to the first season.
