I know there's multiple threads for each of the CW shows but this is basically their Endgame so deserves one for its own rather than spread across multiple threads.

Anyway, we're less than a month away now and this is the best trailer they'e done so far. Routh being Superman and a blink and you miss it moment of ma boy Welling.

Looks like this is where Supergirls budget went this season.

I was about to say I only seen S1 of GA and Flash, are these just watch one episode of each series or is it like a mini TV movie?

5 episodes split across multiple shows (Flash, Arrow, Batwoman, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow). I'm sure closer to release there's going to be loads of "everything you need to know before Crisis" articles if you want to jump in. They're usually great little pieces of fan service, especially this one where we get Burt Ward (Robin in Batman 66), Kevin Conroy (voice of batman playing his first Live Action Bruce Wayne), Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) and Tom Welling (Smallville Superman) all reprising their roles.

There's also Ashley Scott reprising her Huntress from the short-lived Birds of Prey series (and possibly Rachael Skarsten in a dual role as an alternate Black Canary from that show? She's already playing Alice on Batwoman.) Erica Durance will similarly be playing alt Smallville Lois and Supergirl's Kryptonian mother..

..and we've Jonah Hex returning from Legends also and Osric Chao appearing as Ryan Choi - an alternate version of Atom..

Batwoman isn't being shown in the UK yet is it? how is that going to work for us here?

With great difficulty I imagine. I suppose it would be possible to licence Sky that single relevant episode of Batwoman?

Christ knows how other regions ever handle these very involved crossovers. Sky have done OK in the past but it must be a logistical headache for a lot of regions.

Fuck sake. Torrents it is then.

Anyone else thinking of using this as a jumping off point?

I've gotten pretty bored with all of these lately and just watching out of habit really. Think I will bail once the crossover finishes.

Tempted to agree, with Arrow ending as well. Will see what the status quo looks like after Crisis.

Welling!

Imagine if DC's movie division had put in this much time and effort building it up before their big event rather than shitting through it in two years with Zack Snyder at the helm.

Round of applause for this post.

The script from George Miller's Justice League is a fantastic stab at doing it in a single film.  It can be done. Just not by Snyder/WB execs.

I'm a huge DC comics fan but I can't stand watching these shows. They're terrible. The Flash started ok but basically became "What will Barry fuck up this week and fail to learn from?". The first season of Legends was so bad I gave up part way through and Supergirl is just a waste of the character. I'm not a fan of Green Arrow anyway so I barely watched that. No opinion of the quality.

And it pisses me off because I fucking love me some COIE.

Just watch it, it is genuinely the best of the bunch

Best of a bad bunch. I'm like Flub jumped off all the dc shows but am only a season behind on Legends.

Constantine gets a pass cos that got cancelled just as it was getting good.

I'm also not including the frankly astounding first series of Doom patrol. TV highlight of the year alongside Watchmen and Chernobyl.
