This is not so good. As a massive fan of the Silent Scope arcade games, one of the most important skills for the later levels is learning to look through both the scope and look at the big screen at the same time. You quickly find the target with your left eye and then take him out with your right.

Obviously this is impossible with this set up, which is a shame, but I suppose this is much better than the current home set up.

The pump action for HOTD3 would be great though (mainly for the HOTD2 extra mind).

Yeah. I think the point is so that anyone seen wandering around town brandishing a weapon can be definately seen by the police as a genuine threat as opposed to "Has that guy got a real gun, erm, erm, too late he's just shot a womans face off" or "Bugger, we just shot some kid holding a toy".

Sadly in such a gunned-up country, it's the only sensible solution.

In Japan and Europe this isn't an issue and thusly why we got the Thrustmaster Xbox Beretta and PS2 Uzi, the latter being the most impressive lightgun I've ever seen.

No. Not at all.

The reason the UK G-Con 2 was blue was down to some kind of region issue Namco have. They colour a lot of their hardware differently depending on region, such as the Neg-Con which was black in Japan. Anyway, I have the flourescent orange US G-Con 2 and I quite like it cos it feels like the kind of gun that Ready Eddie, the Ready Brek man from the 80's might have used on the Pilsbury Doughboy when he found out that puffed-up white fuck had been screwing his wife.

I may be wrong. But, if I remember correctly, there is something on either the Dreamcast gun or instructions that actually tells you not to paint it a more realistic colour. The thing being white to begin with.

This thing does looking quite stupid though. Still a nice idea.

No. the only current gen console with Point Blank is PS2, which has the Japanese only GunBari Collection, feturing Point Blanks 1-3 and Time Crisis 1, all PSone ports as far as I'm aware.

I didn't complain that it's blue, it's quite snazzy, I was just saying that it is blue when surely it would be black to look like the one in Metal Gear if it was allowed to be black. I was replying in context to someone saying that only in america were lightguns not allowed to be the correct colour and shape
