Three of them, so far. Don't get your hopes up too high, though:

Plus a picture of a mad scientist/artist and his cow Igor, which I can't see in full on the website but has been used to illustrate several articles about his return, like this one:

I'd have thought Covid19 was a subject offering rich pickings for his style & themes.

I've lost track though if its still acceptable to like Gary Larson, I know Dilbert bloke is persona non grata but is Larson still acceptable ?

Larson is a good guy. He doesn't do many interviews anymore but he always seemed normal and slightly bemused by his success.

The Prehistory of the Far Side is a great book where he explains some of his evolution and it's a great read. Fascinating to see him beating himself up over having something that looks a tiny bit like a saw in his "Cow Tools" and how he views that as a mistake that people thought they could decode the strip.

  • 3 weeks later...

I remember having one of those Far Side 'peel one a day off' calendar things as a kid. Probably everyone had one.

Every day was gold :)

30-odd years later my mum still has this one pinned to her fridge, so on point it was for our family:
