Totally fine with the easiest of easy modes in games, making them accessable and enjoyable for all.

Just to play a tiny bit of devils advocate, my daughter's been pissed off with Psychonauts since she was 6. Three years later and she's still really pissed off with it, still hasn't finished it.

Ask her what her favourite game is and she'll say Psychonauts.

I had little to no interest in this  but I've watched a couple of previews today that make it seem almost an essential playthrough, even GOTY type chatter around it.

The first game is an absolute classic. We’ll worth playing if you haven’t. It’s such an imaginative game.

That looks great. Not quite Ratchet & Clank, but still fantastic, and the stop-motion aesthetic is delightful. The level of imagination Doublefine have afforded themselves with the basic concept of the game looks to have been fulfilled, if the trailer is anything to go by.

I'm hoping for a lot more imagination / interesting levels than Ratchet and Clank!

Quite! Visually, R&C is clearly the more impressive, but this looks like it’ll be more fun and imaginative.

I haven’t read any reviews yet, but a friend of mine is furious that the PS5 version is allegedly vastly inferior to even the Series S version with lack of HDR and questionable performance issues.
