Shame, but one duff season followed by six great ones isn’t a bad run. The recent Twitter campaign for renewal from the cast and crew felt more like a plea to not split up a group of people who enjoyed working together rather than for any real need to go further. I suppose they were hoping it could go on to be the next Supernatural, but then the first thing anyone remembered about it would be how long it ran for.  Curious to see where a few of them land.

 

Batwoman is cancelled too but I only made it through a half dozen episodes. I suppose the Pattinson spin-offs might have played a part with the higher ups.

The second Suicide Squad spin-off being worked on is about Amanda Waller, with Viola Davis reprising her role. It's not a certainty just yet and they say it won't be as much as a comedy as Peacemaker was.

Looks like a trailer for an early 2000s superhero film. Sure the end product will turn out entertaining enough (Dwayne Johnson’s projects usually do) but that’s a pretty dour tease.

How about a Batman in Aztec Empire times? HBO Max are doing an animated movie, being produced entirely in Mexico. Batman Azteca: Choque de Imperios (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires). It's not Bruce somehow going back in time, but a new Aztec batman.

I think there was talk that someone at WB said it would be impossible for them to reshoot the entire movie, or use CGI to replace Miller in The Flash because of the cost associated with it. Wouldn't surprise me if they just dumped it on HBO Max with no fanfare.

 

Michael Keaton deserved better for his return. :(

This is such an odd situation. Do WB just release the film? What if the film is their next Wonder Woman in terms of quality? Is it worth the backlash? Do they replace Miller at a potential cost of tens of millions of dollars? Do they just never release it?

 

I wouldn’t want to be the exec who has to make that decision

Don't think we have a thread - but got a Black Adam trailer before film tonight. Who the hell is this for? and it's in the future with no links to Shazam? Do they think they will stop people hating yet another origin story?

WB have been filming reshoots with him all summer. 
 

“Work has kept up on The Flash, which has been testing well.
