Or they’ll just have the punishment deferred until next season.  That’s usually how things things pan out isn’t it?

Technically the season hasn't finished until the play-off finals have been played so they could hit them with a deduction this season as it relates to a charge from previously rather than something they've just been hit with?

 

BBC also reporting that Championship Play-off final may get moved from Wembley if they get the Champions League.

First EFL Semi tonight Bmuff vs Brentford. 
 

I’m a Bees supporter and our 9 (NINE) previous failures to go up via the playoffs are a major millstone despite us being favourites based on our final league placement and our form. 

Last year Fulham outdid us with good game management and experience. I’m hoping we learnt our lesson. 

 

COME ON YOU BEES.

Both 1st legs of the semis are tonight.  Can't wait, generally some of the best matches of the season.

 

Personally I'd like to see a Brentford vs Barnsley final.

I was totally forgetting about the other one! 
 

That’s probably the final that the neutrals want as either way there’s a new (hopefully likeable) team in the PL. I fear Barnsley though as they seem to know how to play us.

Playoff final tomorrow and i genuinely couldnt care. I dont want to go back to the Premier League. The Championship is great fun. Speaking to some Swans supporting mates, and they feel the same.  Our last stint in the EPL saw the club ruined.

As a Norwich fan I concur! Congrats on securing another season in the best league in the world. It's so disheartening to look at the fixture list and immediately earmark 25% of games that you've got next to no chance of getting anything from, and knowing that in the most ideal season ever the best you can possibly hope for is about 7th or 8th but in reality you know the target is 17th or above.
