For a game like Forza Horizon 4 with an X|S "update", do we know whether we will we have to download an update, or redownload the entire thing?

Yeah this is what I want to know, having just seen the snail’s pace XBL is downloading currently!

The official Xbox One play and charge kit batteries work with the new pads though right? Just need to use a USB C cable instead of the old one?

That is what I understood. MS are pretty good at supporting stuff.

Ah, yes - Premium, not Arcade.  I may be wrong, but my memory tells me the difference was about £30 when I bought it.

I don't even have a 1080p TV right now (720p Panny Plasma all the way), but am likely to get a 4K set later this month.  I know the S will be fine, but I'm inclined to try and get an X, if only so that I'm not always questioning my decision...

Getting a55” 4K LG c9 oled (this vrr issue aside) has been the biggest next generation leap I’ve ever made.  And to date I’ve only used it with a base ps4/one/switch.

I got my official play and charge kit with the original Xbox One controller. Worked so far on all revisions of the controller (currently have the latest Xbox One controller the Bluetooth one).

Yeah I think I’m confusing people as I use the rechargeable battery packs with a dock thingy.  But it seems the new controllers have different doors as people mentioned :)  But are they the same as the Bluetooth Xbox One controllers? Dunno.

Well decided to pick a series X up. I was looking at upgrading my PC but it's going to be a £1500 investment which I really don't need to make at the moment besides getting the bits is a PITA. So really don't want to wait a couple of years to do that. So going with a console. At least games will be optimised for the hardware.

Now to hunt one down although sooner would be cool but probably have to wait a bit. If any of you get buyers remorse give me a shout or have a spare preorder they want to give up....

The PowerA web site mentions a dock for Series X|S and that it comes with a pair of doors for Series X|S and a pair of doors for Xbox One.

Hi I was let down by a friend so I have a spare one coming tomorrow if you still need one.

Message me if you are still in need :)

Master Chief on the power supply that is modular. Amazing. Might be the most ethical console yet. Certainly looks that way.

I wanted him to show the HDD manufacturer. Hope people enjoy their new consoles tomorrow, I am not going to be involved as I don't have time to play games any more, just read about them. Boo!

For those that bought directly from the Microsoft Store, can you check your account for manufacturers warranty? Was just chatting to a mate and ours are quite different - mines the 2022 one so he’s not happy! Just wondering is there an consensus?

That’s the pre order date right? I reckon get on the chat once the dust settled and find out as at the least it should be from release date
