I've found that if a game is 'for' one particular launcher rather than exclusively on Steam, it's inordinately difficult to find a Steam version on the cheap. I'm not too bothered in this case - Origin is a fairly unobtrusive thing most of the time and I've got over my fairly irrational hatred of multiple launchers really.

It's the perfect storm of the new generation not having quite got into gear yet,* the old generation petering out a little, and the standard seasonal drought: they've all combined to make everyone particularly keen for any major releases that don't cost £70.

 

 

* and/or, in the case of Sony, stalled due to excessive pricing on the gearbox

I adored Mass Effect 2 and 3. The second game in particular. But I could never get on with the first game. I know it's been given some improvements but has anyone heard if the interactive comic is available if you start from the second game? I always thought that was a great addition.

It will be on sale over the summer. Also I wonder if they have washed away the dirty old school 70s sci fi look. It’ll be a shame if they have.

Man I hope this is a nice improvement. Not expecting the world but looking forward to the quality of life changes. To be totally honest I am just excited for the BOWM... noise when it says press A/X to start.

My understanding is that UK digital PS5 pre-orders always say that but it's wrong and will unlock at midnight as you'd expect. I think it's because they're using the incorrect time zone (New Zealand's maybe)

perhaps a very silly question - I've been hiding from media on this collection that I decided to be in on straight away - is this part of any EA games to be included from day 1 of release, on PC Game Pass Ultimate?  I figure they would be mad to do that, but checking just in case

Was reading that the devs actually looked at a lot of mods and use those improvements as a baseline. I still feel, from the trailers, that this remaster looks sometimes worse than the original, but I'm keen to see it properly none the less. :)
