Computationally heavy ray tracing is exactly what I want in my MMO raid.

I play a tank in world of Warcraft so I look forward to seeing ray tracing in action on the raid boss' crotch that fills the entire screen.

Thousand dollar AMD card. Yea, good luck with that guys.

I'm no AMD fanboy (I have a 3080) but that card is trading blows with the 3090 (let's ignore DLSS for a second) for a whole $500 less.

That's extremely competitive.

for $650 dollars vs $500. Sits between the 3070 and 3080 then for price/performance.

I think Footle is getting at you should be comparing the 6800XT to 3080. Not the 6800.

6900XT $999 = 3090 $1499
6800XT $649 = 3080 $699
6800 $579 = 3070 $499

I think they will really struggle with the 6800XT at that price - they still don't have an answer for DLSS and realistically the 3080 is going to be faster. DLSS and better RTX support is worth $50. They really need to price more competitively than that or have an answer for DLSS.

AMD always win in their comparison charts.
