Mines arrived, was incredibly easy to set up thanks to the phone app, but to be honest my cat is enjoying the box it came in more at the moment, while I wait for my games to download.

Microsoft really messed up using UPS for shipping.

Either that or they messed up by not giving the packages to UPS on time.

If they ask me for feedback i'm not going to have good things to say.

You can probably guess that i'm a little annoyed.

Generic voucher to be used on products dispatched from amazon. Got the controller email and the 40% off gamepass email as well.

Apparently some people on Twitter are saying they got theirs from DHL/Argos despite receiving an email saying it was delayed until tomorrow.

Mine has said delayed all day on the tracking. It's just turned up.

How do game get away with sending these via Royal Mail tracked? Surely if one goes missing they're stuffed on the compensation.

Sadly after PS4, Switch and One X shenanigans no dog photo this year.

Just popping my head in to wish you all a happy release day with your new machines! Sorry to all of those who've had trouble getting their console. My launch day is next Thursday and I'm somewhat nervously eying up Amazon at the moment as that's who I went with.

 

Anyway, hope you all get your consoles soon. Been a pretty tough year for everyone - think we are all due a well-earned bit of fun and excitement .

These amazon stories don't fill me with much faith for the PS5 launch next week.

If this shitshow is anything to go by, they've sold far more PS5s as a pre-order than they've actually got confirmed stock of. It's the only explanation for their weaselly "Due to high demand" customer service tweets.

 

There's no 'high demand'. There's the exact demand they foresaw, based on the number of consoles they sold as pre-orders.
