Aaargh me being a lifelong Apple user and not having a single USB-C to USB-A cable in stock. While the voice in the background incessantly telling me to install the cable in every language imaginable. Firsat world problems.

Oh, I will. :) Set up for now. Too much cable clutter but that will be sorted once I get my fiber connection up and running wirelessly. Will have to raise the console from the ground a bit to protect it from dust intake from the bottom and also find a neater solution for the docking station...

Thanks for the link.  They're doing click and collect so maybe you'll be able to redeem your ticket that way?  This is much more like the way I want to buy a PS5, so well done them.

I've chucked my name into Currys's hat. Although, living in Cornwall, I half expect that if my name gets picked, the 'local' store I'll need to pick it up from will be fucking Bristol or something.

Asked my nephew if he wanted one for christmas. He didn't.

Then when nobody could get a hold of one and everyone on youtube was talking about them, suddenly he wanted one :D

He's only human, I suppose.

Think he's forgotten all about it now, but it'll be a lovely surprise if we do get picked out the hat.

I signed up on my phone, and accessing it from my computer gave me the "You've already entered" message.  I wonder if it'll stay un-cracked until they do the first draw.

turned off wifi on my phone, connected to 3G(!), hit the link, and the in-twitter safari window knew it was me, but when I went full-Safari it let me register my Son's interest.

 

Then I tried another laptop, on wifi, with no joy. Should I try rebooting the router, and register the missus?

I used the wife's phone on EE 4g, my link from twitter*, in chrome AND in Safari... "you have already participated"
