Get the disk version on your wishlists, login to your wishlist via smile.amazon and have it open in a tab ready to refresh.

I'm doing that, if i get one it'll go to someone in here for cost of postage (or you can collect from Leeds)

Yeah I was bang on the link and nothing. They either haven’t dropped or got snapped up ultra quick.

if i manage to bag one I’ll still get the Currys and someone can have it for retail.

Edit: oh they dropped. No joy.

Woot - managed to just pick one up from Amazon.  At least it took my money and says it's arriving tomorrow, but I'll believe it when it gets here.  One interesting thing is that my wife has been trying to get one for my birthday (which was yesterday) for ever.  She got the rumour about Amazon and was refreshing her phone non-stop.  It become available and then just error'd when she tried to get it.  She shouted at me, and on the computer I was able to add to basket.  It then jumped out of the basket when going to checkout the first time, but we managed on the second try.  Is it more crap for phone users ?

I managed to blag one!

Talk about a frustrating experience though - repeated attempts to get it in my basket, then it would keep disappearing from my basket with multiple different error screens, but it eventually went through. Coming tomorrow! That's exciting!

...did I even want a Playstation 5?

Guys i got a disk off Amazon.

I'd rather someone local (to Leeds) came to collect tbh rather than posted.

Any takers?

I would absolutely take you up on the offer!

I'm currently getting constant 503 errors :(

We really are going to be in the position in a few months time when the console will have been out for a full year and still not be able to be able to be freely purchased.

I tend to be an MS/Nintendo gamer but actually quite fancy a PS5 this time around for some of the really excellent looking exclusives but I'm just going to wait until I can order it with no bother. Not that it really affects Sony, when you are literally selling as many as you can manufacture there is not much else you can do but I imagine they wish they could produce more. I'll be picking up all the games I fancy for £20 a pop by the time I snag a console.

Anyone in the future trying Amazon note the above then the "add to basket" button hadn't appeared but the bit where it said other buying options with an RRP price appeared. So I clicked on that and bought it no problem. But you have to be ready for it via an alert etc. The digital dropping a few minutes ahead of the disk was a big help cos I was ready and waiting.

GAME are up...55 mins est wait time...

Hang in there - I queued for about that long when I got mine.  I *think* the Game queue is one big queue for entry to the "PS5 Console" page, and not for the individual bundle you clicked to join the queue.  I got mine by going back to the main PS5 page and choosing the most suitable bundle that wasn't already greyed out.  That worked fine on my laptop, but my phone (which joined the queue earlier, and got to the front earlier) kept erroring saying I'd added too many things to my (empty) basket.  That may have been fat finger errors on my part.

Good luck!

Yes, that's how the Game queue works. Once you finally get in, you can just go back to the PS5 console page and choose any available bundle (not greyed out). And once you are in you have a 30 minute grace period where you can change your order etc - though I'm assuming you are still racing against whoever else is at the front of their queue for the remaining bundles. Game allocates individual PS5s to each bundle so even if one sells out, there are still PS5s available in the other bundles.

Don't worry about a 50 minute queue, I had 1 hour 20 mins on my last Game queue and I only missed out on stock by about a minute, people just in front of me in the queue managed to get them. You might just have to go for any old bundle at that point and sell off the excess crap yourself (though good luck selling that shitty 10 quid t-shirt ).

Derek's walkin', but the wait time ain't decreasin'. One of the trackers says this is just cancelled orders from the last drop and not to get your hopes up. What a farce this all is.

To get into the queue I had to solve a captcha where I had to select pictures of bicycles which were then replaced with more pictures of maybe bicycles and I had to keep clicking til the bicycles were gone but they kept coming as I felt my PS5 slip out of my fingers. All the while thinking 'what dystopian madess is this?'

Got in, but gave up fairly quickly. It kept coming up that I'd try to add too many items to basket (despite having nothing in my basket) then when it decided to actually work, most of the bundles I was prepared to buy were out of stock. Decided not to waste any more time.

Good luck to anyone else trying to get one.
