Kimi Raikkonen has said that he's looking forward to a normal life outside of racing. I've no idea what Kimi's idea of a normal life is, but I feel like we should all be worried.

I saw a little thing where he said “my plan is I have no plan”, Mostly spending time with his family.

It would be amazing if he joined the F1 pundits - totally different perspective and would just cut through the waffle with yes or no, or just a look

More Kimi:

Jenson Button has just told a great story about when he was out one night in London with a bunch of F1 drivers and he decided to leave at 3am and head home but when he got back Kimi Raikkonen was randomly just sat in his living room.

Gah. I'm going to miss him.

He wasn’t going to let the cars unlap themselves until Horner complained, and if that had been done properly the race never would have restarted so I suppose the official ruling should really be “final lap doesn’t count, sorry Max, take it up with your boss”.

You'd be forever checking you'd not pressed mute on the remote then all of a sudden a string of expletives would burst out .

I'm up for that

Lewis drove a brilliant race today. A real champion's drive. Beat Max off the line on harder tyres, pulled away from Max after checo brought Max back within striking distance, managed to stop Max hunting him down after he pitted to fresh tyres and put up an almighty fight in the last lap against impossible odds. He'll win more championships I'm sure.

There’s no way Kimi becomes a pundit. He hated that stuff  it won’t interest him at all.

I do feel like we might see Raikkonen Jr on the road to F1 when he’s old enough, though.

Kimi's largely retiring because he'd like to do the driving without the bullshit.

He's probably not signing up to "Just the bullshit".

Are they about to find Max guilty of being 0.02mm ahead of Hamilton behind the safety car. Although a technical infringement for either driver would solve a lot of problems right now.

I can see them using that to deflect any decision making errors on their part being looked at.

That’s why Mercedes protested on that front I suppose. It seems to be clear cut the rules weren’t followed for the restart and that decided the championship, but as Brundle said, what is the punishment for that when neither Max or Red Bull did anything wrong?

As it stands Mercedes and Lewis have been punished for the rules not being followed. Rolling the race result back to the penultimate lap doesn't punish anyone as up until that point all rules had been correctly followed.

It’s tough isn’t it but that part of the race wasn’t legal. The closest example if two laps being erased at Canada because the flag was flown too early.

it didn’t affect the result that time but a mistake by the FIA caused the change.
