Fucking love The Horrors - one of the best bands we have. They haven't been afraid to mix it up, they seem to be true music lovers and sponges.

 

Not everything they do has been essential, but it's always been "Wait, is that The Horrors?". I see this is just and EP release, but hopefully an album isn't too far away.

 

Last track they left us was the best song the Human League didn't make, and in any other decade a sure fire number 1 hit

I've tried it out, and I lasted about 20 minutes. I'll give it another go at some point, but after skipping through the rest - its clear its just the same couple of notes played through for 46 minutes while Pharaoh saxes

Different vocalist on that track AFAIK, not the usual singer.

Tbh I’ve just tried looking it up because I thought it was the bassist as he did some of the vocals on their first album, but apparently he’s not on the new album at all having take time off away from the band so who knows - it doesn’t sound at all like Geordie Greep though, the usual singer, as you say, I don’t mind him either though.
