Cross platform, will we ever see it?

So, with some big games now providing cross platform options, EA have only really dipped their toes in. Do we think we'll see it in the next few years with fifa? Is there any reason for them not to do it?

I'll stress this is a bit of a wild theory based on nothing here, but I think they're resistant to it due to less ability to control the FUT market.

Less supply of cards means higher prices, and with more players in one pool, there's more cards on the market. And while yes, there's more buyers too which equals more demand, the bottom prices stay low which is where the majority of coins are hoovered up.

 

And it's this hoovering up of coins which allows EA to push packs and make more skrillah.

 

Like I said, just a wild theory.

A lot of the pros even promoted the game by playing on BOTH consoles in the same year.
