Saints and Sinners is unavailable for purchase for me. All editions. I have the original ps4 one through PS+. That’s all I can access but I don’t want that one.

Try searching on the app. I’ve just tried searching ‘walking dead’ and it came up with this:

It’s the first result listed under ‘Add-Ons’ that should upgrade your PS+ version of the game, the one shown here at the top of the list, to the full PS5 version.

The VR optician lenses clip on top of the lenses already in the headset so the scratches would remain.

Ah, now I see. I thought they completely replaced the original lenses.

If one was to scratch the original lenses, could you not just order a set of neutral prescription lenses and use them? I’ve no idea how much they are but I’m guessing it would be more cost effective than a new headset.

what @Strafe said. They don’t replace the (fresnel) lenses in the headset, they clip over the top.

If you wanted to protect your lenses generally I guess you could buy neutral VROptician ones to put on. May be a bit of overkill but it may be one way to protect them if you were worried about that kind of thing.

edit: apols didn’t see your follow up to Strafe’s reply.

Those who have bought prescription lenses, where did you get them, how much and are they designed to keep the eye tracking sensors clear, as those are placed around the edge of the PSVR2 lenses. Cheers

I'm pretty sure I re-ran the eye tracking test and it still worked fine, but I can confirm this for sure later. I thought the sensor was in the very top-left hand corner of the inside of the headset? If not, what's that bit? Looks like a sensor of some sort!

My only addition to @geldra's post is that the £62 default increases if your prescription reaches various levels of short/long-sightedness. My Left 'CYL' reading is -2.50 and that added £6 to my order. Oh, and that £62 excludes shipping - I paid £13 for delivery to the UK.

I think it senses whether you have the headset on or not. It may turn the screens off if it senses there’s nothing in front of it.

(the actual eye tracking sensors are all around the lenses (from watching the tear down vid))

For those that have played Saints and Sinners Part 1, is there a good way to get tooled up in the early stages? My progress is really halting as I just keep fucking up and then I lose everything. Obviously the whole point is that resources are scarce etc, but I’m finding it quite frustrating. Trying to infiltrate the guarded camps to get to caches/intel seems impossible at the moment.

I tried out the blinking to activate Zone in Tetris Effect last night. It seems very unreliable. I think it only triggers when you open your eyes again, but after the first time I tried and nothing happened I sat there with my eyes closed for what felt like ages letting my game go to shit lol.

It’s possible I’m just underestimating how long a full second actually takes. Then again, if it’s that long then it doesn’t seem like a good idea to close your eyes in a game of Tetris, especially at high speeds.

Anyone else tried it and had better results?

I'm really confused by the whole upgrade path for disc owners of Saints and Sinners, is there really no upgrade option at all?

Not at the moment, unfortunately. I'm sure this will come eventually, but for now you're a bit stuck.

FFS, it's one of the games I was really looking forward to playing so must resist buying it digitally.

Right, bought the upgrade as it's the only thing on there but when I try to launch the game from disc it wants me to connect the og PSVR and trying to manage the game add on does nothing.

Jesus, why have they made it so difficult?

There is no disc upgrade path, currently - the upgrade only works for the digital version.

Brilliant, no way I'm buying chapter 2 until they sort it out. Looking at Reddit it seems they are hoping for summer for a fix. I really cannot understand why it isn't a simple job just to allow disc owners to upgrade.

I'm finding this also, I've hit a brick wall trying to sneak into a camp.  Tried the sneaking entrance but get caught.  Im think of carry and load a of can and try a distraction technique next time*

* Not sure if this works

C-smash VRS demo is there now, be careful though as the game is available to purchase at £21.99 - you get to the demo by clicking on the three dots. It’s past my bedtime so I think I’ll leave it for tomorrow now. Looking forward to reading impressions when I wake up!
