Same here. So fingers crossed. I've gone from having zero interest to suddenly preordering at the start of Feb. Hype levels rising. It looks like a very nice improvement over my Rift S and should be far, far more comfortable with glasses than my Quest 2

If you don't have a PS5 sitting redundantly under your TV, then it's certainly a more difficult sell.

My bank declined my Sony payment at 05:08 last night as they thought it was fraud. 

I did have a very "robust" conversation with a man from the Fraud department at FD when i woke up. He assured me he had lowered my security level so the payment should go through tonight when Sony try to take it again. Not sure if i should set an alarm for 05:00 because if i get a text re the payment  i can respond and get it to go through.

I keep checking - order processing on the website and although I can’t see the payment taken out of the account, the available funds have gone gone £600ish….

 

fingers, toes and everything else crossed. I ordered within 5 mins of the psvr being made available…..

I can’t wait to play Rez Infinite in VR. I had a quick go last night and even on my TV it’s still mesmerising, in VR it must be incredible. 
 

Also had a go of Thumper which I’d never played before, I didn’t even realise it was in my library. Does it make more sense in VR? I bounced off it pretty hard because I couldn’t get on with the timing of button presses to the point it just feels almost impossible. Probably me though, was never the best at rhythm action games.

It was an otherworldly experience on the original PSVR, I'm really looking forward to being blown away again on a next gen headset!

If you find the TV screen version mesmerising then buckle up.

 

Then Area X opens up...

 

If you haven't had a proper go in VR, it's like that Ridge Racer on Playstation or Mario 64 moment (but it's had a Red Bull).

There are versions of Rez and Tetris tagged as ‘Just announced’ in the latest PS5 games section of the PlayStation store, but not the PSVR2 section. I have them added to my wish list for an alert for some reason.

I'm really looking forward to trying out the eye tracking mode, but you can still use head tracking or the Sense controllers to aim if you'd rather!

I discovered that I’d bought both Rez and Tetris Effect on PS4. The first doesn’t surprise me, I’ve bought it on at least the Dreamcast, PC, PS2, Xbox as well (and I’m not sure why because I’m not that much of a fan). The second did, but I assume I bought it well before the Connected update.

Similar experience here, I know I have Tetris on disc but forgot I had Rez bought digitally until I decided to log back into the PS app and see how much it was. Happy to see that I could re-download it to my PS5 and just as happy to pay the £10 upgrade on launch day so that I melt my eyes and what little brain cells I have left.
