Personally I haven't changed anything with regards to stuff like that, the only thing I did was change from the stock Launcher to Nova Launcher. As you say everything you throw at it seems to play perfect straight out of the box

This may truly be the greatest retro multi device ever built.

Actually - scratch that. Just seen that it is streaming via a PC.

I still want one, but looks like it won't be able to play GameCube games.

Have to love buying second hand stuff on eBay. The guy had no idea how to format it before selling it on, there's a few documents still saved one of which is called googcard with what seems to be a credit card details for the Google Play account as well as password details  I've deleted it but what a numpty. Also wasn't sure what he'd done but I couldn't copy anything over to the internal memory, kept showing as being almost full despite there being around 500MB of apps installed. Full factory reset and its working perfectly but very odd.

Spent the last hour playing an easy hack of Batman with the speaker blaring, sounds amazing.

I'm still loving it for emulators. It's exactly what I was hoping for. Having said that it's a tad slow/laggy otherwise for some reason. Using Chrome and other general usage is okay but not great - maybe I'm spoiled by my Note 3 though (though it's much laggier than my old Note 1 too).

The joystick and d-pad could be a bit better too but they're not bad by any means.

Yeah, I might do that especially as mine is running at 1.4Ghz and apparently it can go up to 1.8ish.

Also it mounts the SD card differently or something - not that I understand that bit. Any chance you do Lorf?

You could try overclocking it with the firmware hack mentioned earlier.

Hi Lorf.

I've got the firmware installed now but the download link for the actual overclocked kernals is a not working (iLivid crap). Don't suppose you have it?

Sorry - torn between ordering the JXD or the Archos Gamepad 2. Is there much difference? The teething problems I've been reading about with the JXD and the praise for the Archos key mapping system have left me in a quandary.

For those that have bought this. I haven't yet, but will when I get the pennies together, I cannot recommend getting retroarch more than enough as it's all your emulators in one app and is continually updated. Have to say it doesn't have recast.

Also for reicast if you search around the web there is a site I found that does more upto date builds which has helped with a few games.

Well my S7800B has arrived from ebay. Seems in decent condition. Installed Happy Chick and RetroArch.

Really impressed so far, Just installed NOVA launcher also. Is there anything recommended apart from .emu and Epsxe?

Suspect I'll be listing my GCW zero up for sale soon. It's nice and petite but only really usable for SNES era and before.

What are people doing for Amiga emulation?

I have a really well set up hard disk file (WHDLoad etc. all perfectly configured) that I want to use. Not really interested in using floppy images so I need an android emulator that will run nicely with a .HDF file.

I've tried UAE4Droid and that works well with floppy images (perfectly smooth gameplay etc.) but doesn't like my .HDF file (No DOS disk found error during boot). I've also tried EUAE-SDL and that boots perfectly and shows my Workbench desktop but the games play like crap (all juddery etc.)

I just want to run it as an Amiga 1200 with lots of RAM and the .HDF file that works perfectly in WinUAE.

Cheers...
