Got a Twitch or YouTube channel? Promote yourself here!

Hey

Seems a lot of us have set up Twitch and/or YouTube channels now. I myself set up both in the last few days and thought it'd be a good idea to let you guys know by putting the links in my sig, but then I remember that when viewing the page on mobile the sigs don't display and some people might have even turned off sigs in desktop mode.

So, use this thread to share your channel, promote your content, get a few more subs and views and hopefully build a nice community of amateur Twitch content creators brought together by RLLMUK!

I'll start:

Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/kelstengaminguk

Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgu1nQMsPm_vV6lJMdeIAnQ

I've only set these up in the last couple of days, but on my channels you will find videos of Dead by Daylight, World of Warcraft and more!

What's the phrase again? Like, comment and subscribe? Well, if you wouldn't mind then I'd certainly appreciate it! :D

I'm still figuring all this stuff out and it is a bit overwhelming, so if any more established streamers/content creators want to share tips and tricks here, please feel free!

Post your own stuff here for others to find!

My primary focus is on YouTube but I do sometimes embark on streaming projects...

On YouTube I’ve been doing a lot of music beat-matching and mashup nonsense with VGM and commercial songs. I’ve been doing this since about 2013 and a recent count showed that I’ve got over 100 of these. A lot of them are shit, but sometimes I find a combination that works well!

That’s all over at https://m.youtube.com/user/qaziface :)

I do stream from time to time but usually only when I want to play a classic (I’ve streamed through Celeste, Half-Minute Hero, Sound Shapes) or have a particular calendar event in mind (spooky games over Halloween.) Right now I’m playing through Gitaroo Man Lives! but I’m very rusty, so I’m just promoting my failure. :P

My channel is at https://www.twitch.tv/qazimod

What’s the multiplayer scene for Halo like these days ?

Pretty much stagnant. The biggest numbers are on Master Chief Collection. Halo 5 has a relatively small population. Everyone is just waiting for Halo Infinite to drop in the hope it puts Halo back on the map and as popular as the COD’s/Apex/Fornite/Valorant games.

Here’s mine!

Janky Plays

https://youtube.com/channel/UCz1vOi42lqUmppAvMTD3FHg

it’s usually a mix of Yoshimax, BigJack, EvilBoris, Hazuki and myself (a few others too) playing Apex Legends and Rocket League badly (RL videos soon).

If anyone fancies a few games of those then just add me on Xbox (gt: NIGEL).

Also, ‘Smash that Like button, don’t forget to comment and subscribe etc etc’!

Ill take a look an subscribe to you guys too.

Hehe, I'm sure this is like the fifth version of this topic we've had, but I'll happily self promote. I'm pooraf right now so do me a favour and watch without ad block ;)

My channel is a mix of souls playthroughs and game guides. I'm actually super proud of my guides, I put a ton of effort into them and they actually rank really high in searches!

Here's my Hades guides, easily my most popular stuff, the beginners guide has nearly 100k views /humblebrag

My Dark Souls guide series, was a labour of love, not entirely happy with the quality of it these days but meh! It's doing good numbers and gets loads of good feedback!

Here's my most recent playthrough series, played through an excellent remix mod for dark souls 1 called Daughters of Ash which was fucking great!

And here's a cool little speed art I did for my Dark 2 Scholar first playthrough which is still yet to begin..

Will sub to everyone in this thread! Keep up the good work everyone.

Rob Rule here, just a namechange.

I'm about to stream right now, and I suppose I should share it here. A little hesitance my end to do so, because the forum's my internet home and we've shared a lot of our lives here, so do me the favour of not mentioning Rllmuk by name - Twitch is a more distant thing of only 6 months and naturally I know people far less.

I'm live for the next few hours and we chat as much as we play.

I've got a twitch but I don't really use it. If I ever get back into streaming propper I'll share it.

What I am active on however is Youtube. I don't have a lot of spare time to put videos together but I still managed to get something out at least once a month.
It's a bit of a mixed bag, there isn't a theme to the channel I just make whatever I want. so here's some samples of my work.

Spoiler

Gaming wise I make the odd video game related video, normally talking about games I think are good and worth peoples time but I also talk the odd game design related topic.

I've started chasing 1 credit clears and the likes for retro and arcade games so expect to see some popping up on the channel from time to time.

Finally the big thing I've been doing on my channel is a series of video essay's going over the history of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game in a yearly review style. These are easily the most time consuming things I work on. I just released a new episode today.

My videos don't attract many views but that's fine I get a lot of feedback from my friends who enjoy them so that's good enough for me viewer wise, I just like making stuff.

I'm currently the 'unofficial' YouTube channel for the Rllmuk Assetto Corsa Competizione Championship (on PC) - I've been posting race highlight videos every week, for the last year or so.  e.g. Last weeks Brands hatch race:

My channel now has almost 60 of our race videos

edit:  An amazingly friendly bunch of drivers, with a variety of talent levels - always happy to accept new racers.  Thread here: https://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?/topic/310316-assetto-corsa-competizione-pc-race-night-thu/

Followed you, mate. Any discussion about replacing the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog with Bricktop from Snatch is worth a follow.

I've been streaming on Twitch for a little while now, so more than happy to help if there's anything specific you have questions about.

I tend to play stuff that's been out for a while, rather than constantly hopping about to the next big thing. I also go for 100% and trophies on some games, so there's a lot of side quest and collecting that clearly isn't for everyone. I don't have a capable PC at the moment, so it's just audio while I stream directly from console, but I plan to change that at some point in the near future when it isn't quite such a terrible time to be looking for a new PC.

My schedule can be erratic because of family and work, but I try to stream a few nights a week from around 9:30 / 10pm.

EDIT: I meant to add that I've been following @Dotterelfor a good while but will make sure I get the rest of you followed.

Posted in a few other threads before, but I'm the editor of Randomised Gaming, which is a blog and YouTube video channel at present this year I'm also streaming Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this year at 21:30 GMT. (Taking this Easter week off however, to work on other videos)

There is a retro gaming content creator thread here as well on rllmuk:

This is our channel trailer and we pretty much coverage games from all generations:

We've got tons of videos on the channel these days, and we do a mix of videos and live streams here's the most recent stream:

Our most recent video is the sixth part of our playthrough of the now delisted PS4 game Knights of Valour:

Followed you all on both Youtube and Twitch, Reciprocation not expected, but if anyone feels the need:

Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/cheekyleetv

Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi4hD_4AqnnuPrvHioc315w

There's nothing on the Twitch yet, because I keep on successfully procrastinating on actually starting it. The Youtube channel is more of a depository for performance poetry and songs, but I fully intend to add gaming videos on there as well. I just need to not be so bad at doing the stuff I plan on.

Now to go to the other threads and do the same thing...

I’ve been streaming on Twitch a couple of months now and having a lot of fun with it, even though I’ve picked up a slightly odd teenage stalker via it. I normally stream at 7pm on Sunday nights and 8pm on Mondays, but I’m out of work right now so planning on doing weekday afternoon streams from next week until I can get back into employment (which I’m praying won’t take too long).

My Twitch is at twitch.tv/brixtonrifles.

I’d like to start trying my hand at YouTube whilst I have the time, and to start promoting my Twitch a little better, but I’ve not got much further than creating the channel so far.
