Looks great.  

I too am at the messing with things I should leave alone stage.  Fucked the skin with oil as mentioned on the last page, tried to rescue it got into such a stage where I was ready to put in in the freezer to break apart & start again.  Managed to calm down and work it back to something I’ll leave alone, the best version was the one I destroyed.  Why must this hobby be so frustrating.

Don’t sweat it man, it looks great! I’ve had the same deal with mine, although it’s the armour/helmet I’ve made worse. 
 

The thing I like about this challenge is the learning experience, so it’s all good. That and the fact that I actually finish something (although I’ve been getting better at that lately anyway)

It does occasionally make me feel a bit queasy! Especially when I was painting the green around all those boils last night.

I’m out of time so I’m calling this done, even though I want to add some lines to the horns, but I may well fuck that up, so for flesh purposes this is my entry:

 

 

 

 

Really good learning experience this. There are some areas I’m not happy with, but that’s mainly when compared to professional work, and I’ve been painting for five minutes, comparatively. But I learned so much and I know what I would do differently next time.

 

Apart from anything else, I’d have taken months to finish this, we’re it not for the monthly challenge here.

I agree, I really liked them all.

 

However, it's obvious that Albert Fish has romped it. Given that he has a deserved and unassailable lead, may I suggest you call it @Oracle, so that we have more time to do the next one?

Flesh worked really well and gave a nice variety of figures and styles. For the next challenge how about "Light"? Could be a glowing weapon or a lantern or could just be a light shade of skin or armour.
